Went specifically to check out cake decorations for a project my daughter has for school. The sprinkles were sparse and those that were there were expired. Was quite disappointed. The shelves always used to be fully stocked. I guess appearance no longer matters.

This location is great! They have lots of seasonal clearance items at really good discounted prices. Came here on a Friday night and it wasn't very busy. There were a few empty shelves of regular priced items, but the painting supplies looked well stocked.

I keep thinking, “it’s a one off”. Today, my feelings were confirmed. I shop here only occasionally. Every. Single. Time. I come here to buy something, I spend an ENORMOUS amount of time waiting in line. I am currently standing in line, the cashier is on the phone, helping a customer in front of me. There are 11 people behind me and ONE cashier!!!!!!! I have been in line for almost 20 minutes!

The staff was not interested in helping. I was asked by the lady at the counter to go fetch another item and I could not find the exact aisle. The lady at the counter was sweet enough to wait as the store was closing but the others just refused to help.Other than that , the collection is great !

I usually orders at Erin Mills location, but since we had plans of going to Etobicoke area, I chose the Etobicoke location for pickup. I ordered vinyls online and picked the items in store. But disappointed to received a “returned” vinyl. The plastic cover is already ripped open and it was just sealed with a tape. I wonder if they will be happy if the same incident happened to them. It was a very frustrating experience! This will be my first & last time to order with Etobicoke location.

Sign clearly states something is on sale but when it's rung up the sales associate says only the ones with the pink labels are actually on sale. I asked if it the sign says that, and she confirmed, so I took another look and it doenst say the pink labels. Not the first time they have mis-signed or mislead me. They do have good products but they are over priced and rely on sales, I just wish I had an idea what was actually on sale. It was a summer Ashland stem, just wasn't a pink label.

My 10 year old daughter and her 3 friends were very excited to buy their items with their own money they had.some of their money was in coins. The cashier named Heather was extremely rude and snapped at them for having to count the coins and refused to do so. Telling them “it’s not my job to count coins!” And that this is not a bank. Instead of asking politely like a normal person if they had larger bills, she decides to be extremely rude. This is not how you treat customers especially children! Maybe she should be stocking shelves and not dealing with customers. She had her mean face on as they first approached the cash.

To be fair all Michael's are really similar and I really like Michael's. I will add one issue I tend to have there and that is tap to pay. The machines don't always work with certain cards so make sure you have a physical card on you as well

Organized location. Bought some sketchbooks here. The pencils on the display shelves have been sampled one too many times.
