Decent price and clean trucks. Never had an issue renting a vehicle with a couple days notice. During holiday season, reccomend book a couple days ahead

Booked a cube van online a week before my move and they had it ready as soon as they opened. Very good service and hassle free transaction. I will definitely use these guys again.

I had a great experience renting from Bristol in Pickering. The service was friendly & helpful right from the moment I booked the truck, to pick up & return. I was happy to support a local business & Canadian company. I will rent from them again.

Bad customer service ..assuming that the customer is ignorant and damm.. not helping at all .. making you have miserable feelings .

Rented a Moving truck, Booked it over the phone easily enough and the truck was there when I arrived... Was a relatively painless experience.Only giving 4 stars because the prices on the main Bristol Website were cheaper than the prices in the actual location, and the representative said he could not honour the advertised website prices over the phone - I could only get that price if I actually booked the reservation thru the website. I guess the representative did not have that authority to make that happen. With that said, the representative was pleasant and the truck worked well.

I originally booked a van at the downtown Toronto location; shortly after, I received an email saying no vans were available and that I should book elsewhere. So I reserved a van here.I was accused of being a cargo van thief and refused service after providing ID & my credit card. As he dug out the UV light from the bottom shelf to confirm my driver’s license was real, Ian the manager was shocked that I was renting a van where they rent vans. I’m now being questioned about what I’m doing with the van but Ian doesn’t believe me.I’m asked why I’m driving a rental car and renting a cargo van. (cargo vans carry more cargo, also my agreements with enterprise have nothing to do with Ian, also I’m LEAVING the car there!)He asks why this location; apparently my address was suspiciously far from this location, so he required 2 pieces of ID and physical proof of employment just to be sure I wasn’t going to steal the cargo van. (he wanted nothing on my phone) As a business owner, I have no proof of employment and also don’t walk around with my letter of incorporation in my wallet.To Ian’s question, I explain that I originally booked closer to home and had proof of the booking, cancellation and personal email from the rep at the other location. Ian replies that anyone could make fake emails.My brother mentions that they have my real ID and my real credit card, to which Ian replies, “well you can get these cards off the street for a couple hundred bucks” (???)Everything we offered was met with how a cargo van thief would fake that.The manager’s manager, Jessie joins in to help the manager (Ian). Jessie goes back and forth with us until he eventually asked for virtual proof of address, so I showed my credit card statement and got the cargo van which has since been returned safely <3While cashing out, a white customer comes in to rent a truck. He’s asked for a CC and 2 pieces of ID… virtual was perfectly okay from the beginning! I was given nothing but trouble from the beginning and anything virtual was refused until they got tired of us not leaving. The only difference between myself and the white customer is I am not white.The managers apologized after cashing out and explained that new company policy was introduced after having a couple cargo vans stolen. Since I am not a cargo van thief, this had absolutely nothing to do with me. The “policy” is trash and made these gentlemen make complete fools of themselves.The most uncomfortable part of this all was the second hand embarrassment I got from watching them realize I’m just a regular guy renting a van.Aside from that, sweet ride!!

The Bristol team is amazing. Nithesh accommodated a last minute reservation and made sure to answer any questions and concerns along the way. I had a pleasant experience and would rent again!
