Deer Ridge Nails and Spa

My friend and I booked an appointment to get our nails done together for a vacation. However, they made us wait separately and it took over 3 hours to get both our nails and toenails done. I unfortunately cannot say anything good about the design or shape, in addition to some of them falling off within a couple days…way too over priced for the nails we got. Neither of us liked anything about the nails and both of us have never had such a bad experience. We ended up going to another place to get them redone. Extremely disappointed in everything and would not recommend to absolutely anyone…

The owner ( Maya ) she's very nice. You just have to talk to her slower especially we have all our own ascent. She's very good and polite too.I definitely coming back here...Everyone let's support local place like her.

It was very clear from the beginning of our visit that the staff just wanted to go home. I got a shellac pedicure and requested solar nails. Let’s start with the pedicure, this was the worse pedicure I have ever received, the lady doing my nails was so rough and cut me multiple times. She also cut my nails way to short to the point I was bleeding. As for my manicure, I requested solar and received acrylic. First off, the application took almost 2 hours. Second the nails aren’t all even, they aren’t straight, aren’t as short as I asked for and I have nail polish all over my finger tips. And third, I was cut with a nail file….roughest manicure I’ve ever received. My friend had a similar experience sitting next to me. The lady doing her nails did an awful job, she was very rough. My friend also needed shellac removed from her fingernails. I have never seen a salon so lazy. No buffing, no filling, the nail tech just removed the old shellac. Finally the wax they put on your feet at the end of the pedicures was so hot, I wouldn’t be shocked if we both have minor burns on our feet.We returned to this salon because we’ve had such good experiences here. I believe we are entitled to a refund because we paid a combined $160 for services not even worth $5. The salon staff was unprepared, and not able to communicate correctly with clients. Definitely will not be returning to this salon. I now have to pay another salon to remove this garbage from my nails and put on the correct nails. Save your money, go else where.

Deer Ridge Nails and Spa has quickly become my favourite nail salon. Shop is very neat and clean and all the staff are very friendly. Best selection of colors I have found anywhere in Kitchener. I highly recommend you check out Deer Ridge Nails. You won't be disappointed!!

Brought my daughter in for an acrylic set today. Her nail tech was talking on the phone the entire time she did my daughter's nails. She was rude and short with her, tapping hard on her hands to get her to do what was required. I do not recommend and will not return.

I have been coming here for a while now and I love every visit. Maya treats me well and always gives me what I ask for - no matter how long it takes. Definitely recommended!Also LOVE getting mani and pedi's here. Remember to treat yourself ladies and gents!

Went here for the first time on friday... the lady that did my manicure didnt ask how long i wanted my nail and filed them down very short on one finger then i said toooo short and she just left the one short and uneven and then did the rest long... the polish was not applied well as it peeled off in one piece from my nails. It was all around the side of my nails and she didnt remove her mistake that was on my finger tips. I got a pedicure as well.. i gave 2 stars as the guy doing the pedicure was very nice and gave a good massage but the polish was applied not good at all. it was un even and stuck to my skin in many places. The guy doing it though i might add noticed i was upset with my nails and i said it was too short etc with an uncomfortable laugh and he sorta just laughed and brushed it off knowing i was unhappy. paid 75 dollars for both services but do not see myself returning back hereEdit: as you can see the owner reached to me to try to come to a resolution. She offered me a new pedi to make up for me being unhappy so I returned for it. The owner was really nice and understanding . She couldn’t offer and full refund and that’s fine as I prefferrred a good job than my money back!

Maya and Deer ridge nails is amazing. She has such attention to detail, from one quick glance at a photo I received a perfect recreation in 1 hour. Her nails are thin, even and incredibly smooth. Her work speaks for itself. There was not a second of rushing and the work showed that. Today was my first visit and I will definitely be back. I highly recommend the solar gel extensions!!!
