These people think it’s humane to put puppies into small cages with metal wires without any bedding. Without any sympathy towards how that’ll affect the dogs paws. A puppy was lethargic and very unwell and a customer brought it up to their attention and they had no care for the puppy. Customers even notice when employees put their hands in the cages the animals scoured to the corner of the cage. Clearly some type of abuse is happening behind closed doors. They also proceeded to gaslight their Facebook page encouraging they take care of these dogs. With so many negative reviews and stories I’m surprised this place is still up. Don’t bother even giving any type of criticism, they’ll just block you. What kind of business can’t even take negative reviews? This place needs to be shut down!!

If you love supporting puppy mills and businesses that just barely meet the minimum standards set out by Provincial authorities and the Calgary Humane Society, tiny overcrowded glass cages where people can tap stressing the puppies out. No bedding, no blankets, no enrichment toys, then this is the place for you! They have a horrible reputation selling unhealthy puppies and have been investigated for selling puppy mill puppies on numerous occasions.

Good place to letting both puppies and family have chances to meet. Find a puppy is a big decision, it is important to have chances to be real interacting. The girls who help us are super friendly and patient, so we find our family's puppy. I see some other comments, but my personal feel it is not ture , they are taking good care for puppies. You will know when you have the puppy in your arm.

We added a 3 month old Morkie to our family in June. Top Dog was a great store and came with solid recommendations from friends, family and neighbours from their past experiences. Top Dog really provided us a feeling of accountability to ensure the health of the puppy we adopted, both before and after the process.Our rep Brin went above and beyond. She was understanding or our needs and possible allergy concerns, had the puppy's safety as highest priority and helped the process perfectly, even checking up on us afterwards.The family loves our new puppy, and we would recommend checking out the store and deciding for yourself if you want to adopt from them.

4 years ago, I got my Bianco here. and he is a healthy beutiful Maltese dog. and now my Lulu, she is georguos.

The people that purchased puppies from here and then leave 5 star reviews should be ashamed. This is a store that supports backyard breeding and puppy mills. The puppies are kept in sub par conditions for god knows how long until they get purchased, then they get replaced by a slew of new ones. I was horrified by my one visit there. How this place still exists boggles my mind. They spew lies on their Facebook and Instagram pages and as soon as you even hint on disagreeing on something they post, they delete your negative review and you get blocked. By supporting this place, you are indirectly hurting innocent lives. Please be patient. Do your research. Get a puppy from a reputable breeder. Find out where they there are from, see their parents, see their living conditions or better yet, visit the multitude of rescues we have in our province and adopt. This place is not your answer.

Top Dog associates showed care for both my puppy and theirs. Dogs not allowed in-store to protect the health of their puppies. They offered that my puppy could try on harnesses and leashes in the foyer separated from the in-store puppies and at our own pace in a separate space. They recommended great puppy treats that are now my puppy’s favourite!! We even ran into another patron in the parking lot and they said Top Dog was the best and that they had been shopping here for 10yrs.

The staff are super friendly and there is a true feeling that they care about the work. They have areas set aside for the puppies to place. There is no pressure to make a purchase. Its all about the time spent with the pups and you and family. Place is clean and most importantly, the puppies all look healthy and happy.
