I've had mixed experiences coming here. If you can find the right person to help you its not bad, but finding the right person is hard. When i came in for fishing equipment the staff was great and very accommodating. Otherwise I've been overlooked often and have left after waiting for 10 minutes for service. I know in some areas this place is cheaper but its not worth it. If you're into bow hunting like I am, I highly recommend you go to Lane Archery in town, service is excellent and you're getting more out of the money you're spending.

Some items are way over priced while other are the best price in town. I have made large purchases here and used them to price match at Canadian tire where you can get extra Canadian tire money. As for the service, if you need help ASK. I kind of like not being asked several times if I need help. Overall I think having this store in Lethbridge is a major plus to anybody interested in the outdoors.UPDATE: So... I just got back from Wholesale, I bought a 10/22 three weeks ago and now it's on sale for $50 less. I went in and asked the girl a customer service if I could get the difference in return she seemed very confused so I asked to speak with an adult. Curtis the manager said that they do have a policy where you can get a refund on a recent purchase but only within 2 weeks. You lose a star today Wholesale.

Some of the staff are friendly and somewhat knowledgeable, others are there as placeholders. Prices are typically higher than most online retailers by a fair margin (ie. firearms), though smaller goods aren't too bad for pricing -- though I've yet to see any screaming" bargains.Worst experience I've had at the store came in mid 2014 when a $1700 scope was on sale online. They had none left online

Camo was a bit expensive, but then again they sell the good stuff so what do you expect!Staff was super friendly and helpful. If I could have spent all day there I would of.Nice atmosphere, clean and well organized. Lots of firearm accessories, camping equipment, and other survival gear.

I had really good service. I came in to buy a recurve bow and arrows and the employee (Ffynn I think his name was) was super knowledgeable on everything from bow arms to cutting my arrows down to the right length. Not sure what everyone else is complaining about?

Still no real deals! Guns, ammo, bows, safes all still only 5% off! Worse then there normal weekly deals were. December will hopefully be good.

Prices are higher than other outlets but the knowledge in some departments is of a much higher quality. They are in the process of closing all stores so liquidation... If you are reading this after Dec 2017 they are not there anymore.

Like many big box retailers in Lethbridge it's staffed by University-aged people who don't seem to care. Lackluster service is common. The manager I dealt with seemed on a power trip and she refused to replace something that has an unconditional lifetime warranty. I'll be shopping at central online retailers from now on.
