Best sledding I've been on. You don't want to sleep on this locally owned company. Dogs are great and owners are better. Happy to support such a great company!

Phenomenal tour! We booked a two hour experience which took us across and around the frozen lake, Spray Lake. This tour is fairly close to town (about thirty minutes away) and the drive is stunning! The dogs were friendly and energetic, healthy and happy. They have been featured in Jumanji 2 and Snow Dogs! Our guide was exceptional. We brought our six month old and he was happy to lay in my lap in the sled. The canvas sheltered him from the wind perfectly. I would highly recommend this experience.

We booked as a large group of 11 for Boxing Day as a present for our family. Dawn was so great at answering my questions and organizing us all. We were all very impressed with the obvious affection all the guides have for the dogs. The dogs are all well looked after and happy in their work. Our guide was Jade, she was so happy to explain so much to us.We had Australians, Brits and Canadians in our group and we all loved the whole experience. We would highly recommend Mad Dogs and Englishmen.

We had an amazing time dog sledding as a family. The owners and staff were really friendly and knowledgeable and we couldn’t recommend Mad Dogs & Englishmen more.

I had my booking cancelled twice with this company and ultimately wasn’t able to go dog sledding on my trip. I understand that things happen but to cancel twice on a client is unprofessional, especially since I needed to rearrange activities to be able to reschedule the second time. If you only have a few days to spend in Canada, I would book with a more reliable company. It didn’t seem like they had contingency plans to solve problems as they arrived.Note: neither cancelation was for weather, but for personal and equipment issues.

What a wonderful experience for my family of 5. Thanks Russell for such a memorable day! This is the best dog sled experience we could have imagined. The dogs were all so happy and excited to run. We could tell how well they are treated and how loved they are! And how much they love back. We were having a difficult time to decide what company to book with but we are so happy with our choice. The lunch and food was excellent, the views were amazing and the ride was one we will never forget. If you are hesitant or not sure... trust me, you have to do it and you won’t regret it. The smiles on our AND these dogs’ faces says it all... We will be back!

Unfortunately we were unable to experience the dogsled tour which we were very excited for, but the experience still warrants a review of the fantastic customer service and commitment to safety that Dawn and Russell displayed. The weather wasn't suitable for the tour. Next time we're back we will 100% be choosing this company and look forward to the tour.

We had a great tour this weekend, client led. The kids had an amazing time and enjoyed playing with the dogs and seeing the sights. They had hot chocloate and cookies and recieved a happy welcome by all of the staff. Theres a warm tent with a log fire to complete the waivers. I visited the gift shop and cafe which was very nice. The dogs and staff were so excited it added to our excitement too! Thank you for having us, we will be back again for cuddles with our favourite dog Tank!

I just want to start out by saying I read all the reviews before I booked it and now that I just got done with the dog sledding tour I am shocked that people would say anything bad about this place. I’m glad I didn’t listen. We did an hour and a half tour, 2 kids 10, 11 and my husband and I. It was an amazing experience. Our guide Russel (I believe that’s his name) was so funny and so informative. The dogs love doing this you can just tell how excited they were to go. I would absolutely do this tour again. My kids were pretty sad when it ended and asked to do a longer one next time.
