I've been here a few times, and it's always a great time. Upscale but very lively atmosphere, the owner is quite a character. He's boisterous and fun, which might not be everyone's cup of tea, but we enjoy it. Even moreso if you get a seat at the bar, where you can see the staff in the kitchen doing their thing. Pretty much everything we've tried here is great. Grilled octopus, tartare and mushroom risotto was what we had this time around. Good wine list, and they make a mean cocktail.This certainly isn't a cheap date destination. But if you want to impress without it being too snooty, you won't regret trying this place out.

Verdun best kept secret. Small and intimate place. Runned by duo father and son, service is courteous and friendly. They are so nice and personable that you overlook the little slip ups. The food is delicious and fresh. We will be back.

Wow! I didn't know we had such a good and unique restaurant in Verdun!All the ingredients were super fresh and everything we had was made with what's in season. The service was very caring and polite.It's a bit pricey compare to other restaurants in the area, which I usually I try to stay away from. But in this case, it's worth every dollar. I recommend it!

Such a gem of a restaurant! The food was delicious! We ordered a plate of mussels, octopus, fried calamari and tartar as appetizers. The scallops and shrimp on Cauliflower as main entree was top notch! The steak was a bit more on the medium well done than medium rare side but still good nonetheless. The atmosphere is intimate and the service was great. Will definitely be back!

One of the most incredible experience I've had in a restaurant thus far. The owner, or the 'Boss' is the most personable person that will make your experience into an experience on its own. This is beside the food. Impeccable food with high quality ingredients and delicious fusion of flavours. We had the filet mignon. It was cooked to perfection with a perfect sear around and medium rare on the inside. One of the best calamaris as well. Cocktails done with expertise and a wine selection and service that will not disappoint.This is a must go. Thanks to the 'Boss', wife of the boss, and all the Fils'! You guys are amazing.

10/10 all around. Great staff, the Boss himself was in the house picking up my napkin and getting me a new one and all. Loved the music and above all, the amazing food! Fried calamari was some of the best I've ever had and we loved the Cornish Hen main dish. Dessert was delicious also, the crêpe cake with orange and rhubard. Thanks for the great dining experience, I will definitely be back.

I came here for the good reviews, yet I was not impressed with the food.The oysters gave me bad stomach all next day and the calamari were as thin as spaghetti and it tasted like gulps of oil that I couldn't finish.$55 for that, nah sorry.I'm giving it a 1 star, for good customer service and warm welcome, not my food though.
