Pine Lake
Pine Lake has been growing for decades now. At this point time it is a common stop-off place for people in the Red Deer area. Although it's smaller Lake it typically tends to be a bit warmer than most of the other bodies of water in the area due to its smaller size and volume. The facilities have steadily improved at the lake and wait times are not as bad as they can be at other Lakes when it comes to launching or retrieving watercraft.Haven't been to this like several times it is the only body of water that's far that I have always been able to catch fish. Finding a fish that can be kept is another matter however not once have I been skunked. If you are going to be looking for a lake to go spend some time at on a weekend or during the summer it would be hard to go wrong with pine lake in this regard. There's also nearby campgrounds and other infrastructure such as a store nearby.
