Budget Truck Rental

I rated 5 star for Budget. Staffs are 1 star. I rented a car from this location couple weeks ago and dropped it off with full tank gas , even so ,they charged me extra for gas . I called and spoke with someone for refund my money, unfortunately they closed phone to my face which wasn’t friendly . After called North America Budget customer care and emailed some pictures which was taken when dropped car off. Couple days later they refund my money and said apologize. Thanks Budget

As many others have said before. Make a reservation for a car, go to pick it up, only to find out there is non available. I spoke with the counter person and they told me that there was nothing he can do.How about this company stop accepting reservations if there is no cars available to rent? I'm more then sure this budget location has a way of saying no more reservations, they just choose not to, that or there too lazy to go pick up a car from another location.They deserve to have there store closed down or some kind of fine for wasting everyone's time.Save yourself the trip, go to the Waterloo location or better yet Discount rentals.

Horrible customer service, same guy who was working when we visited 8 months ago and both times said we didn't have a rental until we showed him and we paid visa debit the first time as our credit card still has a $5000 hold for hotel but wouldn't accept it this time, didn't offer any solution, didn't apologize not did he say hi when we arrived, just stuck his finger up while he was on the phone then said he had no car rentals today which I explained earlier, had to carry two car seats and a stroller to another Uber which we took to get there which took an hour, and he didn't offer to hold door just went and hid in his office and didn't speak a word or even say bye, will never return to Avis or budget!!! Garbage service. Enterprise took care of us with ease in and out.

I recently arranged for a rental truck and upon picking up the truck, I noticed the disrepair and filth.I called the location to kindly email me the details of my rental and the response I got was that they don't do that which is unheard of as I rent vehicles when I'm traveling.The location took it upon themselves and charged me for gas when I returned the truck with a full tank of gas and took a picture to confirm it. When I inquired about the overcharge, the location staff were polite but very unhelpful and they asked me to call the corporate office which I did. It was a very unpleasant experience and had to make 4-5 calls to address the issue.I think Budget rentals doesn't do enough to check on each of the rental sites to make sure things are being managed and run properly.I would highly discourage anyone from renting from this location.Substandard service, poor customer service with incorrect billing, and filthy and poor-condition vehicles sum up my concerns.

Horrible experience with this location and budget in general!After my car broke down on a Friday I made a reservation for a vehicle with a pick up time of 12:00pm on Saturday. I arrive to pick up my vehicle at 12:00pm on Saturday and after being ignored for close to 5 minutes by the guy at the desk I'm told that the car I rented won't be back until 1:30pm. I had to be in Niagara Falls to shoot a wedding for 3pm.Why would you allow someone to make a reservation for a vehicle at a time when there was no vehicles available?!Worst customer service I have ever experienced!

Bad service wasted my time and girlfriends we were in a pinch people on the phone said they accepted visa/bankcard when we arrived the guy was rude bossy and really didn't care it was closing time.i get it poor customer service we went else we're.

SCAM ALERT. Kent the manager was the most disrespectful person. He didn’t know we online booked and charged us completely wrong. He then “completed my car return” 3 days early and wouldn’t let me take the car for the rest of the three days, and wouldn’t let me get a refund. That’s a literal scam. Please read the negative reviews on this place, they’re extremely accurate.

Horrible horrible place to rent a car from. Go anywhere else! Very unprofessional.I scheduled a car for noon, showed up and there was a sign saying back in 15 minutes in their window.After waiting 15 minutes I called, and buddy said no one will be here until 1.I Waited around for an hour for this bs business after paying for a taxi here.I would have cancelled right then but of course they don't allow cancellations. They charge regardless. Never again.Zero stars!!!

I rented from this location twice and both times got very good service. Friendly staff, cars in great condition, got set up in minutes. They won't upsell you or include hidden costs as long as you know the rules - just read up on insurance, prepaid fuel etc. Know exactly what you want and you'll be fine!

I had a pleasant experience renting a car from them for a quick weekend trip to New York. The front-desk staff was friendly and helpful. I do wish, however, that they offered a better selection of cars in the mid-segment. The staff literally said I have 2 Nissan Altimas only in this segment and you can choose the color! That's not 'variety' in terms of cars but anyway, otherwise it was a good experience. There's a gas station right opposite the location so filling up there is recommended.
