National Bank

I saw and read all reviews. I was near to change my mind to visit this branch because of 1 star reviews but I didn't.The lady who did my job was very nice, polite, helpful and professional.I am happy of this visit and for sure I will go there again.Thanks guys and continue your good jobs for your clients.

Worse bank ever. Please do not get a mortgage from this bank. Turn around go elsewhere. I regret using this bank, but sadly now I am stuck with them for another 4.5 years. I had to open a bank account with another institution because I do not trust them. I had RRSP that I wanted to transfer to BNC. Waited 2 months and no one contacted me. This bank does not seem to know what an overdraft is. They give you a credit card instead and tell you that this is the way they do overdraft. What I am wondering if why did the back bounce my insurance payment - I was short $3.00 - instead of putting it on my credit card that was supposed to act as an overdraft. Been at this bank for 6 months and dealt with 4 different people for my mortgage - with everyone saying something different and making all kinds of promises, which of course are never true. Update, I spoke with telnat and one issue was resolved. Meaning, they reimbursed the 45.00 for bouncing the payment so now I only have to pay the $30.00 to my insurance for bouncing the payment. Still not pleased, but at least I was reimbursed 45. So the total for this screw up was 75.00 - got 45 reimbursed, but it probably screwed something at the credit bureau for being $3.00 short in my bank account.

Visited today (09/22/21) and It took them forever and they had to do it twice as the first time it wasn't done properly, just to do a certified cheque

2 months and waiting for a problem to be resolved without communication than after all that I need to go to the branch. too bad we can't leave 0 stars.

Very slow bank. Only two tellers open. I’ve never seen a bank so slow

I waited 30 minutes (first in line) to replace a faulty ATM card, and never got served and had to leave since i was going to be late for work. TERRIBLE customer service!

You have the right to cash your Government of Canada cheque at any bank for free, even if you’re not a customer. Went there with 2 pieces of idea and was told no and to leave this is the law why is the national bank trying to make money off of poor welfare and disabled people where is your humanity.... sick if I could have given a -10 star score I would have..despicable
