mediocre service. They seem to be quite understaffed as it took a long time for servers to attend to us. I noticed all three servers were needed to showcase the fresh king crab to the guests in the banquet room for more than 5 minutes, even after telling us they would soon come by to note down our order. Other tables were also waiting on them for some time.Food is alright, but on a spectrum - some dishes lacked salt, others were quite tasty.• Sichuan boiled fish (水煮魚) was more spice than flavour and lacked the mala numbing experience.• Shredded chicken salad (手撕雞) didn't have the crunchy bits expected, and had a surprising amount of chicken skin - not really 'hand shredded' as the dish name would suggest.• Beef short rib (牛肋骨) was a specialty dish not on their menu, but tasted absolutely divine. Served cut off the entire bone, the sauce was delicious and meat was extremely tender. Would honestly come back just for this dish.• Stir Fried Pea Shoots with Garlic (蒜蓉炒豆苗) tasty and tender leaves.• Dessert was red bean soup, some coconut jelly pudding and osmanthus jelly (桂花糕) - good.Overall, lacking service but can provide typical 酒樓 food options for dinner. Will be visiting other restaurants instead for better Sichuan boiled fish, but will come here again to try other dishes.

Love the food and environment! A much needed dim sum addition to central coquitlam. It gets highly popular since opening and remains so for a weekday morning - nearly fully packed before 11am. Might need reservations for weekend to avoid disappointment. Table space is a bit tight but we still have a fairly peaceful and quiet brunch.

Food is not bad, but some dishes like the rice roll are a little bland. A bit pricey for what you get compared to some other dim sum places.

I’m glad this franchise opened a location in Coquitlam after the one at Hard rock casino closed down. It was a nice and easy place to gather for a function and then go entertain ourselves after haha - this location is easily located at Coquitlam centre where Montana’s used to be and beside Best Buy’s external entrance. There are “two sides” one for more casual dining and one I believe open for larger parties or weekends. We went early on Monday night so it was a bit quiet which was perfect for my family. The dishes are both reasonable yet a little pricey (let me make sense of my nonsense!) the siu mai and other dimsum dishes were more extravagantly priced at around $8.95 and higher which is a heftier price - however, the portion and quality tasted good! I don’t know if I could afford a full dimsum feast there but for what my dad was craving it worked out just fine. The gai lan, albeit simple, is just comforting veggies in a meal but were also pricey at $15.95 given the portion size. Usually we would pay more premium prices for pea tips but regular gai lan just seemed like a lot than usual. The sukiyaki hot pot was phenomenal! It came in at $17.95 but I really enjoyed it making its purchase worth it for my personal experience. The egg was a perfect addition and well flavoured (similar to a ramen egg) and the beef was tender. The broth was delicious and I recommend pairing this with rice (comes with choice or vermicelli or rice but as sukiyaki already has vermicelli in it then rice is the way to go). It also comes with crab stick, squid, enoki mushroom, bean curd, tofu and tomato. It is not a traditional Japanese sukiyaki but it was still comforting and enjoyable. We also ordered crispy chicken chow mein ($16.95) but I forgot to snap a picture. It was a good portion and perfectly crispy. The staff are so nice here and as of December 5, they wear masks. The service is courteous and I enjoy dining here!

My friends recommended me this popular restaurant named Neptune Seafood Restaurant for the delicious Dim Sum. However, we had a great dinner at this restaurant with two couples recently. Strongly recommend it for its plenty of Asian cuisine, such as Braised Beef W/ Chili Sauce, Jellyfish W/ Garlic and Vinegar, Sautéed scallop & Prawns W/ Vegetable, Beef Tenderloin in Black Pepper Sauce, and Salt & Pepper Spareribs. These regular dishes are not too expensive($25-33), but very authentic. The staff are nice as well. Definitely I am going to be back again and try their Dim Sum.

Lunch was great, we made a reservation and only had to wait maybe 10 mins before we got a seat. They have some seafood specials on right now. We got the king crab cooked 2 ways and it was awesome. The cute dimsums are always a hit with the young one.Service was great and attentive, we got new plates switched out often. Waitress was nice and great with my kid.

The food was tasty, staff was friendly and overall it was pretty good experience. The prices are about the same as all the other Din Sum restaurants in the area. The only downside is the food took a long time to come out. We were there when they first open at 9am and had the order in by 9:15. The final dish, the chicken rice didn't arrived until about 9:55. Maybe it's because they just opened recently? Hopefully it will be better the next time I'm there

Went at 10:30 to be sure of a seat on lunar new year day. Previous experience said that even with reservations, when the restaurant gets crowded you can still wait an hour to get seated. Went for dim sum. They use a checklist menu with text in Chinese and English and little pictures, so those looking for a roving cart experience will be disappointed. They’ve cute-ified some of the menu items which can be fun. Food arrived in dribs and drabs with some waits so long we had to check the receipt to be sure if we were expecting anything else or if we were done. Conversely, when the food arrived it was hot and fresh, so there’s that. They are following the new BC bylaw and charging for takeout containers so you might want to bring your own if you are expecting leftovers.
