Mr. Handyman of Greater Grand Rapids

I cannot say enough good things about this company! John was our technician and his work is amazing! Our house is very old, so I knew that we would need to hire a company that had experience, knew what they were doing, and warranties are always a plus! We had 2 entry way doors installed, as well as 2 storm/security doors, it took some work and a lot of elbow grease to say the least, we had a few kinks in the road but Mr. Handyman really came through, and safe to say I think these doors will last forever! They are very quick to respond to your messages, the customer service is outstanding and John really takes pride in his work! It's rare to find companies like this one where they want to make sure everything is up to par, we got a couple different quotes and not only is Mr. Handyman affordable but for the quality work they do it was a no brainer for us.

Bruce was so great and professional. He arrived on time and replaced our kitchen faucet and fixed a few other repairs around the house that needed attention. I will be calling them again when our to do lists gets too long again.

Had their employee out.They claimed he had over 20 years of experience. He was to install a garbage disposal and a shower door. He was here for almost 4 hours and accomplished nothing. He could not even figure out how to install a garbage disposal.A common simple task. He took it upon himself to try and install it on the wrong side and not say a word. Then when I told him it was the wrong side he wasted more time and then quit and said he can’t do it. He said it was Due to the plumbing. It took someone who has over 20 years of experience to be underneath a sink for four hours to not say a word and 4 hours later say he can’t do it.Shameful they would send someone who couldn’t handle a simple task of a garbage disposal.He also had NO communication skills what so ever.I would never use this company or recommend them to anyone.

Prompt, professional, and pleasant!Bruce W. from Mr. Handyman was out to install a replacement mailbox. There was excellent communication from Mr. Handyman before and on the day of our project, Bruce arrived when expected, assessed the project and provided an estimate in advance as well as an excellent recommendation for cementing in the mailbox post, dashed to get the needed concrete, and then did an exceptional job with the installation. The new mailbox looks terrific!

Bruce arrived at my house on time and fully prepared. He repaired baseboard trim in my bathroom and truly did an excellent job—I am super picky and critical and I have to say, he was very careful and precise and fixed the baseboards. He also was going to clean the gutters. When an issue arose, he explained what was going on and came up with a viable plan. He worked hard and cleaned up well. It’s my first time using Mr. Handyman and I am happy and impressed.

They tried to charge me $700 for three small jobs that would take less than two hours. I said I wasn't going to pay that and we trimmed the work back to two small projects. The new quote was $500. I said I'd pass and was told I'll still get charged for a service call. Not paying a dime to have someone come over and try to rip me off. Avoid this company. There are better and cheaper options.

Aaron and Bruce were simply fantastic! On time, friendly, professional and excellent representatives of Mr. Handyman! Both hard workers and expedient! I would request either of these two again! No hesitation! Well worth it. Will use again for other household projects! AAAA++++ service!

Aaron from Mr.Handyman installed our counter tops and did an awesome job. I got an estimate quickly and was able to schedule for the following week. Service was timely and very well done. Aaron wa quick, friendly and very conscientious. If I need their service again I'll probably ask for him as a request!

My repairman, Aaron, arrived promptly at 8AM. He looked at my soffit that needed repairing, gave me information on how much it would cost to repair it. I agreed and he left to purchase materials. He finished the work in a timely manner and it looks brand new again. He cleaned up afterwards which I appreciate.I would wholeheartedly recommend him. Very nice, friendly and communicates clearly so the homeowner can understand the situation.

Repaired sliding glass door.Aaron was amazing. What should have been a simple roller install became a realignment and balancing job. The door functions like new. Well done!
