I would provide a higher rating if the owners were there, the staff are helpful but not as up front about the cost of items. Bought a large rose quartz, did not see 2 price stickers, at the register at point of purchase the cashier should have told me about the price differences before charging me. I figured it out at home after thinking I had been mischarged. Great quality & price even though it has gone up over the years. Be very careful of the prices on things....They have become more new age so they have a more eclectic variety like pendulums. They use to be cheaper when they sold rocks & fossils as a minerals store... But the quality is there!

The owner is pretty knowledgeable, rather than saying too much welcoming, he just answered when I asked and that is more I was looking for. He recommended two types of crystal for my questions. After that I searched by myself his suggestions are indeed very true. Good experience of purchase!

This place is beautiful and the staff are very kind and helpful. They have a huge variety of gem stones, jewelry, skulls and some really awesome fossils. The petrified wood is so cool! it's like holding history and science in your hand. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who collects gems or is a fan of fossils.

I love this store and they have absolutely beautiful things but I'm not going to visit anymore; the lady present was unfriendly and seemed obsessively determined to follow us and watch our every move in the store. I'd rather just drive further next time and visit Earthworks where the philosophy and attitude of the staff mimic their offerings. People like to feel comfortable and welcome, they'll spend more money too you know.

Like Geologic, owned by the same people, Gifts From The Earth is my go to place for crystals/minerals. I always know they will have authentic, high quality minerals.A few days ago I saw the most beautiful Clear Quartz point I've ever seen and had them place it on hold and bought it the next day. Their prices on larger pieces are sometimes on the higher side but I'd rather pay for quality, see attached photos.I also imagine the rent on the Danforth isn't cheap, paying their employees, and trying to make a profit isn't always easy, so keep that in mind when considering their prices.It's always random, usually Geologic has the larger selection, but I noticed on my last visit to Gifts was their clear quartz, fluorite and a few other minerals were much higher quality than Geologic, so visit both stores if looking for something specific and always ask to put something on hold. When I started collecting minerals I can't tell you how many times I would think about it only to return the next day and the piece I wanted was sold.Highly recommended!!

Love these stores! I frequent the Danforth location for a great selection of (high quality) smaller stones. Whereas the Queen St. location is excellent for sourcing larger pieces - one of which I found to be so lovely I had professionally mounted and framed with museum glass.

The atmosphere in this shop is just incredible - the selection of high quality semi and precious stones is pretty awesome - the dude working there gave off good chill vibes too -I'm impressed with the prices of everything ad well- not greedy at allIt's clear that the people who sell these crystals love them - you cab feel it in the store and once yiu leave with them - someone is setting good healing intentions for those stones and the people who buy them - very magnetic , high vibe place - definitely recommend you check it out - even 10-20 dollars is enough to get a cool pocket size saphire or ruby or emerald or aquamarine, peridot etcDefinitely will be going back again....

I been shopping here for over 10 years. The staff are wonderful and kind. They have a beautiful variety of gemstones, minerals, books and other materials to help on your path of the New Age. Peter the store owner is a wonderful businessman and his staff always make you feel welcomed. I recommend 5/5 stars come here for the best quality in service and products!

I used to love coming here, sucks that their storefront has been closed for the last few years :(
