Blackstrap Provincial Park
Beautiful place, great to spend the day with the family for a picnic/BBQ and a day at the beach. There are very clean and well maintained indoor washroom and shower facilities available. Great spot for camping if you don't want to drive too far. Fishing was not to good as there is too much shrubbery causing the lines to get constantly tangled. Fishing areas could use some improvement. Otherwise a beautiful place to get away from the city buzz.

It is a beautiful lake just about 32 km from Saskatoon. The beach area of Lakeside has many trees, picnic areas, also floating water park for those who like to jump. There is spacious washroom and toilet. Also bbq area. It has cafe and restaurant.

Good place, 20-25 minutes drive from saskatoon. During weekend, Good number of visitors for boating or fishing. Need to go early if want to book the Good spot for fishing. Avoid rainy weather as no shed available.

Exquisite view, more like God has painted by himself. We entered by mistake private property opposite of provincial park, but the view from there is an alluring one. The people are amicable, and we also learned when crossing any vehicle or person, one must have to make a friendly gesture to the other there. Unique thing.

25-30 minutes drive to south of Saskatoon. Nice and clean, Well kept washrooms and benches with some friends and family made my summer remarkable.Home to one of the rarest geographical formations in Canada, the Blackstrap Provincial Park takes its name after the manmade mountain that rises 45 metres above the surrounding prairies. This park is the perfect place to enjoy a wide range of summer activities including swimming, camping and fishing. With a boat launch located on the east side of the lake, Blackstrap's lake is ideal for water activities such as water-skiing, canoeing and windsurfing. A main beach with inviting sand and ample grass areas makes a perfect place for games and sun tanning. For that perfect getaway with minimal effort and preparation, two Camp-Easy yurts are available for booking.Park entry fee daily $10, weekly $40 and yearly $75.

Visited the park at end end of April. Lake's water hasn't fully melted yet. As it's not picnic season yet, the restrooms were closed. Enjoyed the drive to the park from Saskatoon. Overall a pleasant experience.

I love the place, peaceful and relaxing. It’s 30minutes from Saskatoon and it’s easy to go. There’s a lot of picnic area and the beach has clear water and fine sands. There is also some tiki tiny bar around and the place is clean. There is also a playground for children and water castles and activities to do.
