Awesome Discovery today. I popped into Tasty Halal Store and was blown away at their manakeesh (pies). We had the meat and cheese and they were the absolute best I’ve had. I can’t wait to go back and try their smash burgers. It’s a little grocery store with seriously a whole lot more. Definitely worth checking out.

Bad customer service, first time i see in canada a store role said if you buy less than 5 dollars you have to pay cash , other wise the machine will not accept it , back home you can do this with customers not here in canada , second thing, when you go for shopping , he start to tell you have to buy this and this and this , and how come you buy this without buying this with it , let people do shopping without tell them what to buy , Im writing this review after my second visit to this place and unfortunately in both visits i was upset, I’m sorry, but i think the guy working there is so greedy. Not recommend.

Bought overpriced meat pies and I found a piece of lint in 1, they also tasted very dry and meat had no flavour plus I asked for a little cheese in them and they put like a pound of it in there all clumped up in the middle, it just looked they just threw everything in there with no idea of how to evenly spread anything

I got to say this is one of my favorite grocery stores in calgary...very clean and organized....they literly got everything you can think off that other stores don't have. Wide selection of iraqi products....spices... and all. Fresh bread....and their meat is 1000000 times better than the other stores.. it's a must try. New gem...needs to be checked out.

They don’t wear gloves when they touch the food especially when they bake bread , the guys make the dough and spread on the table by their hands without gloves . The gloves are very cheap and very important for health, so I don’t understand why they don’t wear them . !!!
