Blown away every time and always leave happy. Such a great atmosphere, experience and great people to be around. Making sure you’re comfortable and giving you what you need is very important! I’ll always recommend Pride Beauty.

Gel X nails are stunning, my fav. Nail art is beautiful. I had a special function and got many compliments. Brought my 8 year old for a mani and pedi as well and they treated her like gold. She loves the mood changing nail polish. Easy booking system and just love this place!

I got my lashes lifted by Emily, she was so kind and did an amazing job. This salon is like no other in the HRM. They go above and beyond to make everyone feel inclusive and comfortable. I’ve never been to a salon that offers fidget toys. They’re also very focused on the LGBTQ+ community and those who are neurodivergent. I will be back soon to get more services before my wedding!

I love this place!! I always get my gels done here with Britney, she always does such an amazing job. Walking into the space is always so welcoming, it has a very chill atmosphere and friendly staff. Thank you to everyone that works there!

I have been going to Pride Beauty Lounge now since early fall of 2022. I have always had a great experience while there. I have received Gel-X nails by Brittany and they would always go above and beyond for me at every visit and does such amazing nail art. I have also had amazing gel pedicures with them as well. After going here for a few months and the Salon side opened I decided to try it out and have had great experiences in this side as well. Robyn is very knowledgeable and can help make hair care less confusing for people like me ... lol I recently started getting gel overlay with Olivia and she is also amazing! I recently asked for this pearlescent chrome nails and I am still so obsessed with how pretty they look. Thank you everyone at Pride Beauty Lounge who I have been lucky to meet. Your passion for what you do and for your clients really shows. <3

I have been seeing Britney several times at Pride Beauty! She is the most incredible human, inside and out. Britney goes above and beyond to ensure you’re comfortable and thrilled with the services you’re receiving! I have recommended several people to Pride!

Recently had my nails done twice at Pride Beauty Lounge. I found the experience each time was rushed and the finished job was poor quality. I had my nails fixed and the fix showed no improvement (pink nails is initial job, and then the fix is in blue). I will say that the owner was very responsive and receptive to giving fixes but after two attempts I won’t be going back. It’s unfortunate that a refund won’t be provided considering I gave them a second chance and will now need to pay to get these removed elsewhere.

Cleanliness was great, and it's probably the only spa I've ever been to that I wasn't misgendered. But that's about where the positives end.My partner and I had booked back-to-back pedicures, followed by manicures together.When we arrived, they changed the plan and my partner had their mani alone, followed by 2 very rushed pedicures (mine didn't even include everything I'd paid for), and then I had my mani alone, which also didn't include what I'd paid for.We had been thrilled that the pre-visit form asked questions like whether we had sensitivities or preferred conversation etc, but despite requesting no conversation, both aestheticians chatted, and about heavy things with zero check-in. One talked about family acceptance of queerness, the other volunteered info about drug use and mental health: all 3 topics which heavily impact the queer community this place is supposed to cater to. One also went out of their way to say they weren't gay.My partner's nails weren't set resulting in wrinkles.And then they called after we left saying they'd charged me the wrong amount.Super disappointed: it was an expensive, underwhelming experience.EDIT: the spa owner personally reached out to resolve my concerns. I definitely felt heard and appreciate that they take feedback seriously.
