Beautiful lake front “beach” with round pebbles, water is chilly but very tolerable in August when we visited. Beautiful boardwalk with lawn chairs, calm waters and ice cream shops here and there. Up where we were there was also a playground perfect for our kids (0-6y.o.).

Really nice place to spend the day hanging out on the beach or going for a walk on the boardwalk or for a bike ride on the bike path. It’s all very well laid out and connected down there with a few food and drink options around as well in case you need to fuel up or rehydrate.

A nice area along the boardwalk trail. Scenic and clean with many areas to explore next to a unique neighbourhood setting. Lots of areas to sit and rest or relax.

City boat house where there is a footwash tap, and washrooms.Good playground for young kids! Just up the grass hill from the beach.Private Recreation and Dining club BBC has a gym and other amenities. Members only. There is volleyball in front of the club, but not sure if those are public or private.Where the boardwalk ends to the RC Harris Water Filtration Plant there is Off-Leash for dogs.Great off-leash are for dogs who have strong recall. There are no fences or gates. People without dogs set up in this area on weekends, but if they aren't using illegal barbecues on the beach, and people control their dogs with voice or leash, it's a great place to mix family fun with dogs.Bad for horseflies in the heat of summer. They attack dogs getting out of the water.

Love this place.. so serene.. if you’re lucky you’ll go on a day when there’s not much of a crowd and the place is peaceful you can hear the waters from far away.. if you go close the broadwalk is amazing.. really nice place to just pause and chill.

Such a mix of a quiet beach place with some nice patch of a vibrant outdoor physical activity area. People were biking, doing some group workouts, playing beach volleyball, or just walking along with their dogs. I love this place in Toronto.
