Worst bank staff in HRM, totally useless 100%. Time and time again my partner and I have been to that bank to be told no we cannot process your transaction, go down to Hollis street branch and no problem. Scotiabank staff especially managers have to be replaced with competent staff, almost shut down all accounts because of an undertrained teller. Tired of going to Quinpool branch, being told NO then going to another branch and being told YES. These idiots cannot be trusted with your money.

I use this branch regularly and never had an issue. Last time, I got there exactly as they were closing (I thought they close later) and they still let me in and were patient with me. Went there today, too, and the trainee, a Ukrainian lady, was very nice, helpful and honest. Whenever she did not know something, she asked her colleague. I am not sure about all the negative reviews here, maybe I m just lucky?

Went to the branch to get the momentum plus bank statements with the name and account number on it, they said they can't do it. Told them that its for IRCC and I did it 3 months ago, they are just asking for 6 months....showed them everything but somehow they came up with saying, we requested and it can take up to 2 business days and you can pick it up on Monday". Worst service and worst bank ever. They don't even know hot to print the transactions."

The teller was unhelpful and rude. I'm going to try a different Scotiabank branch as other reviewers have suggested.

Staff were really helpful. We went there for paying ambulance bill, get change and collecting credit card. The entrance to quinoool road is temporarily closed . The entrance from parking lot is one that opens. Phone calls doesnt get returned though.

Honestly rating is actually meant to be below 0Bad staff have dealt with 50% of the satff are not cooperative. And thinks that customer is stupid and they are the one with high IQ

Poor customer service. I went there to send money to UK. The money was returned saying that wrong receiver info. (Of course, I lost some due to exchange rate). But whatever the info I provided was correct. When I went in person to inquire about exactly what info was wrong the Assistant manager/ customer service lead told she will get back to me. It's been a while, no response yet. If you are visiting this branch, please be alert, because at the end of the day it's your money. So, they don't care.

This branch and overall baking with Scotiabank is absolutely terrible; after banking with them for over eight years, their service has deteriorated so much that I am moving to another bank. Always find myself using the ATM because the staff at this branch refuses to do any of my transactions.

Never ever going to visit this bank again in my life. The lady today in brown dress was so rude as it was the end of the day. I understand you are frustrated but that does not give you any right to show disrespect to your customer.

Very professional and helpful staff. This is my main branch, so I have dealt with them repeatedly. I was served mostly by Melyssa, who provided me with all the details I need to open my account and gave me a wealth of advise on how to invest my money if I wish. She was professional, clear and sincere. I was also served by Aswad on the counter who was also professional and pleasant to deal with. Finally I had a question through the customer service helpline and received a call from Olga, customer service lead, who showed sincere concern and interest in assisting me with my request. I will sure visit this branch regularly and recommend it to anyone looking for professional and reliable service.
