The skate place is fine, but renting skates quality is disgusting. All skates are rough, when I asked the replacement they gave me the rusty skates, that can’t go anywhere, all the staff was rude, their policy doesn’t include any money back as well.Avoid of renting skates here

I took my children here in the half term. I had booked tickets in advance, which the prices are okay as we were allowed on the ice for 3 hours.The ice skates aren't the best. They did hurt out feet a bit.We were first on the ice, so to start with it was extra slippery as no one had skated on it. But after a while we got use to it.The penguin hire was expensive, especially as once I'd paid to hire one (price per hour), my son found it harder to use than skate without.But we did enjoy ourselves. The rink didn't get mega busy but there were a lot of people zooming around but thankfully looking where they were going.Someone was having a skating lesson in the middle, so we weren't allowed in the part.Overall, I would return.

A young lad helped us with our ice skates, his first job and been there 6 months. What a credit to the place he is, he went above and beyond to offer help and advice, he changed our boots 3 or 4 times till we got the right ones with much patience. He is a lovely, helpful kind soul and it was a pleasure to have met him today! Keep up the good work

Absolutely love this place . Amazing atmosphere and really nice people . Especially in the shop the skate escape . Really helpful guys and friendly. Eager to get you involved kitted up with the best equipment to suit your needs . Can't wait to return and get involved in the hockey side of things . Perfect place for those that have busy squeduals open at the perfect times . Monday evening I had a crazy busy day finished work at 6.30pm got washed and changed, had food , then arrived about 7.40/8pm, popped into the hockey shop and on the ice as soon as they opened. Great evening on the ice with my partner then off the ice around closing 10.15pm . Nice drive home missed all the rubbish weather and home ready for a bit of TV and bed . Woke up feeling great . This place has it spot on.Great way to spend your evenings when the weather is rubbish with is most if the time in the UK. Food drinks toilets all ring side with no need to remove your skates and plenty of places to stop and rest . Sence of freedom once your in . No one bothers you and you can use the entire place like your own . Games room upstairs for the kids with pool table etc. . 10 out of 10 for me

This ice skating is really nice and spacious, I loved the pizza there too. But the ice melts really quickly, it was like a cold, indoor waterpark, not enough to do a spin though. The staff was ok friendly, and the overall is pretty good.

it was rly good ! nice atmosphere - everyone was super sweet. the food was good and the ice was surprisingly good at the end of a 6 hour session. value for money is good - £14 for up to six HOURS. also the shop is amazing !!! totally recommend.

The skating was average at best and the staff was glassy eyed. Be aware with the parking that the skating sessions are 2 hours long but even once paid if you park for longer then the 2 hours you will get a ticket and hassled with letters from a debt collector. For this single experience I will never go back and I don't recommend to anyone to go.

Great for children's parties. There's a side room for pizza! The host was attentive and checked everyone was getting along just fine. Good fun

The staff here are lovely. That's a big bonus. Can't ever fault the interaction I've had with anyone who works there. They're really helpful too.The facilities are okay. The toilets aren't the nicest, the last couple of times I went they weren't great with no hand soap available in the upstairs one.Food is okay, and the hot drinks are nice.Sometimes it's exceptionally cold (I know it's an ice rink but sometimes it feels way colder than others).Think they could put a little more into the upkeep maybe.

Really enjoyed our visit! Cost a fortune for 4 of us which took the shine off a little (£75 for 2 adults 2 kids plus skates and aids for the kids), but the real disappointment was the hire skates! My god those things crippled us all in a very short time. A real shame as you pay for about 3 hours but there's no way we could last that long through the pain caused by the hire skates. The place has barely changed since I was a kid 30 odd years ago, but nothing wrong with it, in fact it brought back some great memories!I'd love to go more regularly, but would need significant investment in our own skates etc!We will go back I'm sure, but at that cost it won't be for a while yet.
