Spent some time here and tried some of every beer they had on draft. I was impressed with the quality! Was also impressed with the staffs patience dealing with us while drunk. Should have tried the hot dogs. Pretty pricy though! The only downfall

Friendly staff greeted us immediately as we made our way to our seats. Ordering at the bar was easy. Food arrived quickly and was delicious as were the drinks. Atmosphere was great. Enjoyed our time before heading to our event and would definitely go back.

Great beer. I feel like their loaded hot dogs are a bit over priced and it would be nice to see them expand their food menu. But I'm satisfied. There's lots of other food options nearby. The beer is great though. Easily one of the best breweries in Hamilton.

One of my favourite place to go for a great craft IPA. The food options is made up of small apps, picked goodies and sausages. We had the fries with sesame mayo dip and curry mayo dip. We also had the pizza sausage and chicken dumpling, both were very tasty.The fries are one of the best in the city if you like crispy fries, which I do, and the fries comes with 2 dips of your choice.Always good service and great atmosphere.

This place is near the heart of it all. Friendly Staff. Awesome Interior design. Shared Tables. Patio available. Decent prices.Everything is ordered at the Bar. Store and Merchant Front available to grab and go. Super Clean Washroom with nice fresh smell. Free WiFi. No Credit Card Surcharge. Bus stops nearby. Time-Limited, Metered and paid lots all in area.

I went to Merit for the first time and would definitely go back! Almost all of their meals can be made into a keto version, and they are happy to do so. We had the Garlic Pickles to start. We had the Cauliflower Bhaji Sausage (which has no potatoes) and we dressed the sausages up “Butter Chicken” and the other as “Steak N’ Stout”. The Steak N’ Stout is excellent! We also had the Kale & Brussel Sprouts Caesar Salad which was also excellent. Most of the meals are customizable. We had a chance to meet Chef Shawn and tell him ourselves how great the food is.This place is environmentally friendly - they use cardboard food containers, and stainless steel cutlery.The place is Immaculate, and in the washrooms they provide women’s sanitary products which is a nice touch. The place is fully accessible, and they have an accessible washroom.They have great music, they have an outdoor patio. We had exceptional service from Robert, Cassie, Shawn!Excellent music, but not too loud, free wifi! I love supporting small, independent business! We will be back!10/5!!!

I really enjoy Merit. The business of the location is a testament to the good beer, good food, and good service. If you can't find a spot just take it as a sign of a good place and don't get upset! Just come back. Communal seating isn't for everything but to be honest, good beer is meant to bring us together. Embrace the culture, enjoy the food. Cheers! This is a great place.

One of the best sausage I’ve ever had. Beer was great, staff were friendly and the brewery as a whole was a joy to be in. The interior design is awesome. Highly recommend a visit here.
