I regret ever joining this bank. I have never had it where my debit card gets declined for “insufficient funds“ when there is more than enough money to cover my purchase. Spent one hour on the phone and they were telling me that it was the merchant. Meanwhile, I transferred the funds to my mom’s bank and the purchase went through instantly. Two times this week my card was declined for insufficient funds. This bank is absolutely ridiculous. They also said that they have other customers complaining about the same thing. SMH!!! I will be running back to TD.

They have the worst customer service. My wife went there for a simple name change on our account. They demanded a document from service Ontario. A marriage certificate, Ontario drivers licence and health card was not enough for a bank. Imagine, the government of Canada and Ontario and ok with the name change but not Scotia Bank.Do they think we made the drivers license in our basement? Or is this branch just on a power trip?We're moving our mortgage to another branch.

Commercial banking is supposed to be open for teller transactions from 10-3 Monday to Friday. It's literally never open. We would like the manager Deepak Chauhan to stop this false advertising and help businesses save time and not hold up the personal banking lineup.Very nice tellers. Always patient and helpful.

I am rating this at one because there is no option for zero stars. I have been waiting for a callback for over a week after complaining that I didn’t get a callback for over six months only to find out that the person no longer worked there. This person promised they would get back to me within a week, her name is Sharon Buttar, or something like that

The worst service i could have got in my life the staff knows nothing. They lack basic knowledge as if they are working without training. Extremely arrogant staff. They don't hesitate to act bossy. I wonder what action scotiabank is taking for such low ratings of a bank.

I was greeted courteously by Humza, a teller that has regularly been a huge help with my families banking needs. Ask for him when inquiring into different savings products and next steps regarding account setups. He has helped my family set up multiple accounts and has made my customer service experience highly satisfactory. Helped me when most banks especially in the Brampton area have frustrating service.

I have to say, i am skeptical at first to open an account on this branch because of all the reviews that i read. But i still tried it and i don't regret it. It's my first Bank account here in Canada and this is so important step for me. So my appointment reservation through phone call has a mistake infos to it although it's not my fault actually but they still entertain me and Ms. Merann Dias is the one who assist me and she is so sweet and polite and really will explain to you of what you need and don't and whats good for you. So i am glad i get Scotiabank as my first ever bank here in Canada. Thank you so much to the staffs of this branch. (:

I am rating it one because the staff is not serious about the work, a girl working there is either not serious about her work or she is just wasting a wonderful opportunity. I asked her about my issue of check hold and whether i can remove the hold. She told me that i have to visit the home branch and she told me it was at balmor rd, i went there and they told me it is not the home branch. I mean come on, it just frustrated me

This Scotiabank branch was good thanks to Komal Nanda. She was a great advisor very helpful and got the work done super fast. Now that she is not in this branch, it sucks. Nobody really attends to you and wants to help you.

I wish I could give them in - rating as the behaviour of guard is super egoistic don’t know what she want. And the workers who are working there are not serious about their work. Hilarious branch of Scotia bank I have ever seen.
