TD Canada Trust Branch and ATM

Ok, so here is the story! The advisors both personal and commercial are great! They know the job in and out like a monk knows its bible. But the “newer” staff at the counter seem to sometimes lack interest in the first line on their job description: be polite and smiling! I worked in banks for over 10 years in my younger days. Its not that hard to be polite and help your clients at the best the BANK can do. Its clearly not a training issue but more of an attitude adjustment... but just so I am clear, I am a very satisfied TD Canada client!

The day I wrote my review was 30/03/20.I can definitely understand the circumstances of being vigilant nowadays. I understand that the branch could get crowded with the new policies and procedures implemented due to the dangers of the virus. I expected the service to be longer and walked in accepting the slower service I was going to receive... However, X was straight up disrespectful and gave a poor quality service. From the moment I walked into her office she aggressively told me to stay back and immediately I was uncomfortable. She was clearly rushing me and did not even attempt to explain anything* whenever I asked for further explanation. She would simply reply, “I’m only here to open an account for you”. She said that 4 times, she sighed 3 times, she rolled her eyes in front of me, she was humming a song and she looked at her phone... All that within the 15-20 minutes I was in her office. *It was only towards the end when I told her I did not want to open an account that she wanted to explain further... Fear of loss maybe?! The worst part is that nobody was waiting for her, the bank tellers were the ones in a rush and not her. She had me waiting for the appointment when she was not even busy... I can definitely expand more on the horrible service that I have received from X. I truly hope that she was transferred from another TD branch for the time being because I do not want to see her again and hope that nobody experiences what I experienced. I’m truly disgusted, I was self quarantined for 14 days and had to break the streak because I was obliged to go to the branch to open an investment account, opening an investment account was very important to me but I was unable to do so because I did not get the help that I needed. If I get notified that she was in fact transferred to that branch for the time being, I will definitely delete my comment. I typically like going there when I need to, it is near my house and the workers are always kind.

Today I went to this branch to get statement of my account ,I was in line with 2 meters distance from the person ahead but suddenly one of the staff I don’t now who was the lady a manager or whoever , shouting at me in French (I don’t know French) to respect the distance. I shocked and told her , English please then she explained that you have to be on that sticker which was almost 4 metres apart from the others and I didn’t see that one . I think these days everyone knows how to behave regarding COVID 19 so not necessary to be bossy for your costumer. It’s my experience from this branch which wasn’t pleasant .

Has become very poor in terms of customer service in recent years. Today I was there trying to deposit a small gift a personal US cheque that was dated early this year 2023. The manager insisted it was post dated to another month because while the writer of the cheque wrote the date as m/d/y, the manager insisted it is d/m/y and was very rude and disrespectful, basically calling me (and by implication the writer of the cheque) stupid without using the word. There is a basic way to treat a customer, and unfortunately the manager really missed it...very disappointed. If you go to this bank use the automated machine, because you are rolling the dice with their customer service.

Worst branch ever. I had some fraud happen in my account back in August, which they intially BLAMED me for and told ME that I was the one behind it all and that I was une menace a la banque". Called back today because ever since then they have disabled my what they call my "privilege" to have e-transfers because of something that was out of my control. I asked them "Then what should I do? Switch banks?" to which they answered "Yes". Horrible customer service they can never solve a problem and they never advised me that there was fraud in my account they automatically blocked all my cards and left me in the dark. Please please please take your banking somewhere

worst branch ever!you can’t even your electric and telephone bills for your company because it require two signatures and i ask how can i pay these bills the manager just repeat the same thing as the front desk...donno how can this happen in Canada,you can’t pay your bills with the same quebec inc on it and the funny part is i already did it with other td branch.

The ABSOLUTE SLOWEST AND WORST SERVICE OF ANY BANK ON THIS ENTIER PLANET. Appointment for 2pm. Sat there waiting for 1.5 hours! To top it all off they wouldn’t even help me with my overdraft protection. I guess they would rather keep stealing from me. Worst bank.

In this place I had the worst experience ever. They gave me a confirmed appointment and after a week when I arrived I found someone else with the same repressive I supposed to see. simply, they said it was because of the system. It is strongly recommend you avoid this branch.

Easy access from the street, parking in front is difficult during shopping hours, however there is parking in the rear during the business hours
