Do not buy from this builder!!! The experience was terrible.The builder had a clause in the agreement of purchase and sale for services to be installed before he could provide a closing date. Fair enough. All legal. All Tarion approved.We waited for over a year plus extensions for the home to be built. Again all expected and all legal.This week the builder decided not to extend the closing date any further but instead to cancel the contract all together. Legal yes. Disappointing yes. Professional I don’t think so, do you? How would you feel?In this hot market, this put the buyers in a very bad place. Prices have gone up so much along with much higher deposits that the purchaser can no longer afford to buy a home.Imagine if this was your situation. You have nothing you can do. This is a decision that is best for the builder.This is a terrible position to be put in. Extensions to the closing dates would have been accepted by the buyers.l bet if the prices stayed the same or went down, the builder would have never released the purchaser from the deal. Why on earth would any builder walk away from a firm deal to build a home unless it benefited the builder. So now Crescent Haven Homes can resell the homes he refuses to provide to the clients for a much higher price and a much larger deposit. Fact!!!!This is a very bad business deal for the purchaser who put all his trust in this builders basket only to be let go when it benefitted the builder only. Buyer beware you are not dealing with a builder that fulfills deals and dreams. He legally but immorally drops you like a hot potato when it benefits him. I feel so bad for my young clients. And it was told to us the “builder decided”. So he could have continued to proceed. So sad

Absolutely one of the WORST companies to ever work with. DO NOT BUILD WITH THEM! Literally not one person on our entire street (Chapel Hill, Kitchener) is happy with their work or their customer service. Almost every home owner has something wrong with their home or/and hasn’t had proper grading/grass for OVER a year after moving in. Use any other home building company! It’s excuse after excuse after excuse with very little execution or taking responsibility for their mistakes or lack of scheduling.
