Very nice meal, much cheaper than Chinatown as it's off the main drag. Nice change to have an Indonesian twist. Large portions, good, swift, friendly service.

Avoid going there on weekend!!!! It's a disaster. The food was not bad but the service was extremely awful. Never in my life had waited for service for such a long time. Each time we called for a waiter we would need to wait for at least 15 mins. Worst of all, we need to talk to different waiter/waitress each time because they never came back to us.We waited for at least 20 mins to order our food. The dishes was served quite fast but they forgot a bowl of plain rice. Eventually we waited for almost an hour for that bowl of rice to be served. Of course when we finished our meal we waited for another 20 mins to get our bill -and they even dared to charge a service fee. They took it off after I complained, but generally the experience was so bad that I wouldn't want to come back again.

I rarely give low star reviews, I found the location of this place really bizarre. It’s situated in the opposite corner of (Lisle Street) Chinatown where you’ll find a whole entire street of Chinese food. This is the only Indonesian restaurant around this area. I found out about it’s worst reviews stories written below while i sat inside the restaurant so it was kinda of awkward at first. But hey we were looking for halal food options, Nusa Dua came up in the list. I can’t blame anyone. But never mind that I’ll cut to the chase. We weren’t very hungry, we wanted to have quick nibblets hence we ordered platter for two and Indonesian ice tea.The satay sauce had the nutty texture inside rather than the sloppy saucy Satay sauce you’d find in better Indonesian restaurants or in Indonesia itself. The chicken was flavourless and tasted bland, something was missing I think it was not entirely fresh. The only item in the platter was decent was the spring rolls and the chicken wings, can’t have prawn crackers since I’m allergic so my sister liked it. Not to mention I had the refreshing Indonesian ice tea which was delicious to drink in the hot scorching afternoon.

Stay clear of this restaurant. My group ordered 3 dishes. Nasi goreng for £12.80 (which was only as big as my rather small hand), Ayam sambal (sambal chicken) for £18.80, and Sop Buntut for £18.80 (ox tail soup). The fried rice was bland and not even Indonesian. Rather it's Chinese, and I don't think the Chinese would call this a plate of fried rice either. The Ayam sambal should be called Chicken with chili oil. This is not the ayam sambal that I have always known. Practically, this mis-labelled dish is a blasphemy to Indonesian cuisine. Finally, the sop buntut was okay, I guess.. I have never had an Indonesian sop buntut before. So, I cannot comment much. Nonetheless, the ox tail soup was uninspiring to the bland side. For context, I came here during Christmas day 2022 and this was the only restaurant without long queue around the area. This should be a signal for a bad restaurant. But, we gave them a chance and tried dining in anyways. When seated, we were given a special menu for Christmas. Understandably, the prices was marked up to the moon. However, reading the other reviews in hindsight, the prices was horrendously expensive to begin with. On top of that, we still need to pay £6.3 for the service charge, a daylight robbery considering the service we got.

Just awful! I agree with the last comments here. The food was insipid, absolutely no taste. The chicken was hard to chew. I ate barely half of my dish. The staff really not friendly. Three of them were cleaning the ground with detergent while customers were eating! I hope I won't be sick this night.

Awful. Avoid. Starter was all from frozen.... fried chicken was awful, spring rolls was from a packet. Main was disgraceful no fish or chicken in sight. Still had to pay for starter..... and service was completely unapologetic. Nearly ruined our night!!!!

We ordered the beef rendang and ayam sambal. Both dishes that came we're nothing close to the actual Indonesian dish. It looked and tastes more like Chinese food. So don't expect authentic Indonesian food here despite its name. Both dishes were very oily but tasted good (as a non Indonesian dish). Portion is okay, we had some left over.

Exceptional customer service and great taste and quantity of the food. I’d say the prices were reasonable as well. Loved their beef rendang dish, slow cooked beef in an amazing think sauce, highly recommended. However, there are three things the restaurant needs to improve on in my opinion:1) The restaurant needs an upgrade, if feels quite old and rusty now.2) The food presentation needs improvement. While the taste is great, one of the reasons you dine out is presentation.3) I was told by my waiter that the discretionary service charge they add to the bill is kept by the administration and not shared with the staff - if this is true it is something unethical and unlawful for the management to do so. should really reconsider it.
