I made the drive after reading an article on Instagram highlighting how this is one of the largest garden centres in the Calgary area.I was quite disappointed when I arrived and saw that only one of the buildings was the garden centre, I felt as thought I could find the same size greenhouse in the city.I recognize that the plan variety is vast (although most of the access was closed off) and the pricing is reasonably good.I just felt it was a waste of time.

Not our 1st trip to Dunvegan Gardens. Traveled 23 km for one of their bountiful cherry tomato plants. Fruit from May 'til fall freeze. Too good to pass up.Edit: This is Thanksgiving Sunday, 2022. We will be harvesting our 3rd crop this season the moment we hear of a frost warning. Well worth our travels. See the added photo.

Pretty disappointing. I made the hour long trip out to the garden centre. Upon arriving it was apparent there were no carts, which is inconvenient but no big deal. Grabbed a cardboard tray and proceeded to start choosing plants. I was approached and told to put everything back and only shop in front of the yellow tape. Approximately 75% was roped off. I was directed to one shelf and a bunch of plants on the floor. No selection, no service. Disappointing. A destination greenhouse is such a good idea. Hopefully they are on a learning curve and will improve.

How much did you just spend on vegetables at the grocery store this month and how long did they actually last for? A day, MAYBE a week?? Well, the produce from Dunvegan Gardens is locally sourced from their own greenhouses and other organic Alberta products! Why spend a fortune going to the store when you can have amazing and unique vegetables delivered with love to your front door - there's also an option to customize your order for all those juicers out there! Let's make Alberta great again and support our local families!

Eh, really good pricing on the few shelves you're able to shop from. Really good selection of petunias... but that's it. I'm not sure if everything is pre-sold or still being grown, but selection as of mid-May wasn't worth the drive in my opinion. Upside is that everything I did buy was really healthy and full.

Fantastic fresh veggies delivered right to your door! Everything is crisp and tasty ...lasts much longer in the fridge than veg bought at the store. Reasonably priced too!

Nice staff but the produts are bad. I bought some very overpriced annuals that just dried in the pot after I replanted them. I've been potting petunias for 2 years now and this never occured. Anoter tree is barely surviving. I am assuming it is because they kee pthe plans in such a tropical nice environment, they struggle when you take them out.

I went looking for perennials but I'm not sure if maybe they were sold out but they had very few Perennials. They did have a lot of annuals and vegetable plants though! No greeting when I walked in and when I walked by the sole employee (I was the sole customer).

They have a wide variety of beautiful plants and yummy local produce. Their staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. The drive to the greenhouse is always a nice way to unwind after a long work week.
