Their heated patio!!! It was so warm on a rainy day in April.Ordered 4 different kinds of mezzes. My favorite was walnut pesto. Absolutely lovecd it. Could not believe they could make that consistency without any cheese. Their pita bread was very fresh as well. 4 spreads come with 2 pitas. Ended up buying the whole extra bag of pita and used some to finish spreads and took the rest home.Farafel was excellent and waa very filling. Would definitely order again.

4.7/5What a hidden gem! The photos don’t do justice to this place. Absolutely scrumptious food with so many vegetarian options. We tried the Sabich Hummus, the Falafels, and the Parallel Salad. The flavours were intricate and the vegetables were fresh. The mint and lime were so refreshing in the salad and the eggplant and garlic in the hummus… such great touches.Lunch for 2 people worked out to be $35+ tip per person. The server was very pleasant as well.Lovely ambiance inside with bright skylights. The outdoor seating area is enclosed and very well headed. Such a vibrant and relaxing place to stop. Would definitely return!

Came here for brunch with a visiting friend craving Middle Eastern cuisine. I highly recommend the mixed dip pita combo for sharing (comes with 4 dips of your choice and you can request extra pita), and going with a group in general because the portions are good and highly sharable. Vibe is more industrial kitchen, but comfortable with high ceilings and a sheltered patio out front. Also make a reservation; it gets busy!Mixed experience with the food - most dips I tried were very good (labneh, baba ghanoush, and this herby walnut lemon dip), except the hummus which I found standard/nothing too special (but appreciate it's freshly made in house just prefer more tahini mixed in for a flavour boost), pita was great (fresh, soft & fluffy), tabouli salad was ok (I had to have bites of other stuff with it to get through it i.e. enjoyed it as a side dish not as a standalone salad), falafels were delish, huge, filling & served on tahini (fresh herb heavy which was a lovely unique twist, but I did find the tahini light on flavour), and the hummus chicken shawarma was underwhelming (bland). One regret I have is not trying any mains from the brunch menu; also note you can't order main dishes from the regular menu when the brunch/lunch menu is in effect (until afternoon). They also sell some grocery items near the cash to take home including house dips and pita which I will likely do next trip. All in all a good experience & I'll be back one day to try more dishes.P.S. menu is accessible via a QR code & they have free WiFi.

Have eaten the food from this place a lot, the staff is really nice, the vibe is amazing and the food is to die for. They have so many special items on their menu, and they’re so delicious, it’s hard to explain. I love their various flavours of hummus! Everything is so fragrant and fresh!

A rainy Sunday evening was spent at a quaint little spot known for their falafel. We didn't have reservations, so we sat at the bar. Ty was our bartender and server. He provided great recommendations and was very pleasant to talk to. He was attentive without being intrusive to the dining experience. Shoutout to Ty!The food? Delicious. Perfectly seasoned and full of fresh flavours. For starters, they have a selection of dips. Order them individually or in a platter of 4. The platter is the best deal since you get to try 4 different dips for a decent price. We chose labneh, beet & tahini, babaganoush, and walnut pesto. They all had very distinct flavours. I enjoyed the walnut pesto the most. The dips are served with warm pitas. We ordered the sabich hummus plate as well. This one was a meal in itself. A hummus plate with chunks of roast eggplant, a hard-boiled egg, chickpeas, tahini, and preserved lemon(?). This was all presented beautifully arranged so you can try each ingredient on its own or mixed up together.Their famous falafel was so good and piping hot that I didn't take pics. They come as a plate of 4, but they can also do 2pcs since they are so filling. Cutting into the falafel, you see its vibrant green and tastes like fresh green herbs. Not overly garlic or dry. The falafel was delightful on its own or dipped in the tahini it was served on.  Be careful. They are small but filling! For the entree, we ordered the Picahna beef skewer. It came on a bed of arugula and roast zucchini tossed in very simple vinaigrette. Along with a side of tahini and tomatoes. The meat was grilled to perfection, cooked through but so juicy and tender. Again, this looked and smelled so good, I dove right in and only took a picture after the first few bites. We paired this all with two very refreshing cocktails. The Elder"

Parallel is a modern middle eastern restaurant with an industrial atmosphere and an open kitchen. You get to see their process of manufacturing their tahini and their food preparation. We went for brunch and got the baharat beef & fried egg and mushroom mix in zaatar pita. Overall, good flavours and generous portions. The food itself can be a tad heavy for brunch so I recommend going with a group and do sharing plates. At the restaurant, they offer frozen pitas and prepared meals. So it is great if you’re on the go.Service was also great and the vibe was warm and welcoming. They also have a great outdoor seating so it would be great during patio and terrace season.

Came here lunch on Saturday for 11:30am and didn't have to wait for a table for 4. Everything we ordered was delicious and came in decent portions! FYI this meal was quite carb/bread heavy and we needed to order extra pita. Must order is the falafels!Would recommend and come back.

Always a great choice. Really yummy salads and amazing hummus. Great spot for sharing! The hummus with mushrooms is legendary and can be a full meal. I highly prefer this to ordering the 3 dips which are tiny in comparison.Having gone back numerous times since this first post- this place does not disappoint, however, they’ve removed the mushroom hummus from the dinner menu which I’m sad about.

I was too hungry to take a picture before i start eating. We got the chicken schnitzel plate and it tasted AMAZING. The 2 sauces that came with it were amazing. I also asked for a hot sauce, they brought me some green sauce that tasted really good and was also super hot. The service is not extraordinary but the food sell itself. Make sure yo not over-order food as the main dishes come in big portions. The food is a bit pricey.
