Birchland Cottages

This is our third year staying here, and will be returning! Private cabins with various bed arrangments to suit most families; pet friendly with a waver. All cabins have access to boat docks, a sandy swimming beach, sat tv(we have yet to need or use), individual fire pit and propane BBQ. Set on a quiet lake off of Highway 1; all cabins a feet from the waters edge. Fire wood and ice available for purchase on site. Owners are always improving and updating the cabins. Running water, power and septic system to all cabins!

Drove back from Toronto for 2nd year in a row and absolutely love these cottages. Arlene is a very responsive host and the cottages are kept very clean. Such a quiet and beautiful hidden gem in Ontario. The lake is so clean and 30 ft at it's deepest. Kayaks and paddle boats are also available to residents. They are also dog friendly which was such a huge plus for us. We have a lagotto (Italian water dog) named Bond and it is almost impossible to keep him away from the water so the private docks were perfect. Beautiful sunrise and sunset views.. Even the night sky is mesmerizing.. Certainly looking to come back in the future

We had a fantastic stay! Can’t wait to go back. We planned a last minute get away for just 2 nights, but wished we could have stayed longer! The owners are very kind, our cabin was very comfortable and incredibly clean. The location is great, easy to go out and explore during the day or just hang out and enjoy the lake. I highly recommend Birchland Cottages!

We stayed in cottage 8 and was it amazing!! Si much luxury with the A/C, Roku tv, and a fully stocked kitchen. It even came with a popcorn maker, Crock-Pot, and electric skillet! And all that is before we look out the windows!! I would highly recommend!

What a lovely place! Staff are super nice, the lake is gorgeous, and there are so many great amenities to go along with your stay! We will definitely be recommending this place to all our friends and family!!

I loved it here, my family loved it here. We stayed in cottage 3, it’s a bit rustic but right on the water with views like a painting! It’s on the group of 7 route so if you’re a painter, don’t forget your tools like I did! Kayaks and paddle boards are complimentary which is amazing. Arlene is so friendly and lovely!Already booked for next year it’s such an amazing experience. Great for fishing too my kids caught a bunch.

Stunning location with simple yet fun activities. The cottages are clean, good size/layout, and right on the water. There's a playground for kids to enjoy along with kayaks and canoes. There is a small beach area but you can go swimming right out of your cottage and challenge yourself to swim out the trampoline they have floating around. Overall, I had a great stay :).
