Chris was very helpful and easy to deal with, he even made a trip to my place to double check on a washer dryer set I had purchased. Prices are fair, I would definitely recommend this guy.

I bought a washer and dryer set from Chris about a year and a half ago.Since day 1, I have had nothing but problems with it. I called him within the two week warranty, and he did not answer any of my phone calls, text messages or e-mails. I kept calling all summer long, and he did not answer at all. When I finally did get in touch with him, after several attempts his answer was, I don't do calls in the summer. My time off.I demanded my money back, but he denied. I will bring you another one.I refused his offer, as I don't want to deal with another dryer that has been sitting in his shed for 20 years or so, and rats have lived in. For a business man, he sure gives poor warranty and service. He would not let us see the washer and dryer work. They were sitting in his driveway all ready to go when we got there. He told us that he just ran them through a cycle each and that was that. The washer works good. but it clunks while agitating.My opinion, I think he was more interested in getting us out of his yard, so that he could go and play on the water for the rest of the day.I would not recommend him to anybody looking for a decent washer and dryer.I can't even give him a half star, so I have to do 1 star.Not impressed with his service or machine.

We bought a second hand machine from Chris and had problems with it as a fuse blew out on the delivery. Chris took his time to drive all the way to Duncan and do a house call. We had a range of frustrating factors but Chris managed to get us up and working. Would definitely recommend and use his service again as he stands by his word and makes sure you are a happy customer.

Dealing with Chris has been amazing. Between our family we have our purchased from him three times. This last time our tenants washer broke and we were in need of a new one. He had one that worked for us and it was in practically new condition. Not only was it a great price but he delivered it the next day and took away our old one. We have two kids and an incredibly busy schedule. He made the stress of being a landlord sometimes be headache free. My tenants are happy they have a working machine so quickly and my wallet isn't crying as much knowing we got a great, trustworthy machine for a great price!!!! I would recommend him to anyone that needs a new laundry set!

We have bought appliances from Chris before. He is a busy guy but when I sent him a fb marketplace question on Thursday, Canada Day, he said he could meet us that same date to show us what he had. We were not interested in the unit he had (ours was the same brand so we were worried it would break down again and replacement parts for Kenmore are hard to find) he asked where we lived and came to our house and fixed our washing machine in under 5 minutes. Very knowledgeable and knew what to look for. Was a godsend because we had not been able to do laundry for a few days. So much appreciation to Chris. Warning however, he is busy for a reason. Knows his stuff. Ty Chris!

My expensive 5-year-old washer/dryer set stopped working, and could not be repaired even with a $500 control board replacement. I called Chris and within an hour we had a replacement washer/dryer delivered that works great (even better than the other one!) and Chris hauled away the broken one, all for a very reasonable price. Thank you!!!

Make sure you view Chris' appliances before purchasing!! I made the mistake of relying on his verbal description of a used Maytag stove and ended up with an appliance I won't be bringing in to my home. Chris let me know that there was rust in the element rings and that I may want to replace them. Unfortunately, there is so much more rust than that!!I let Chris know that I was unhappy with the stove and I took responsibility for not viewing it first. I also let him know that I felt his verbal description had failed to let me know about all the rust. He refused to accept responsibility for not describing the appliance accurately and kept saying that used stoves just need cleaning and that this stove was a pretty typical used appliance. I would have expected to work with him to find a solution. I am certainly disappointed with his unprofessional manner and surprised that a business owner would treat a customer like that. I won't be buying another appliance from him, nor would I ever recommend him.*The picture in Chris's add was a front view of the stove like the one I've included below. None of the rust can be seen. Take a closer look at the other pictures showing what thestove looks like when you lift the top surface up. Chris says this is 'typical used condition.' If you buy from Chris, make sure that you see the appliance that you are buying first. Lesson learned.*Response to Chris' response: Chris' response to my review contains omission of important facts and exaggeration. Let me address these...1. Omission: Chris was paid $100 for delivery. I also offered to bring the stove back to him so he didn't need to come get it. He never responded.2. Exaggeration: Chris maintains that it took him 2 hours out of his day to deliver the stove but he also had deliveries in Luxton and East sooke. I'm 30 minutes (Max) away from either of those locations. The truth is, it took him 1 extra hour for which I paid him $100.Business owners that operate with honesty and integrity have no need to ommit or exaggerate when talking about their business practices to make themselves look better.Bottom line, learn from my mistake and look at Chris's appliances before purchasing and don't expect any cooperation if you're unhappy with your purchase.
