We were only using the day use area, but the lake is nice. The scenery is great, and I have heard that the fishing is pretty good too.

We love the idea of camping right beside the lake as we are able to hop right into our kayaks. We even encountered a bear under our trailer and seen a few more. The outhouses are absolutely disgusting however.

It’s like everyone skips by this place. Aug long wknd hardly anyone on the B side of the lake. I like it best because it faces the mountains.

Beautiful campground! One of the nicer and quieter spots I've been to. That said, bring your own firewood if you like long burning and strong fires. The stuff provided here and in local towns is basically sticks and will not burn for long.

It is a nice place to go fishng the campground on the north side of the lake is lacking trees and is more wide open but if you have a trailer over 25 you going to want to stay on the north side because the south side near the boat launch even though it has lots of trees the spots are really small and awkward to get into .

Love this campground! It is within a short 30 minute drive to Waterton, has a great selection of camping spots with considerable more privacy than the Waterton campground. The views of Payne lake and the mountains are beautiful, especially at sunset. It does not have many services, but if you come prepared with plenty potable water and don't mind using an outhouse, you should be good
