Karma Salon

I went to this salon initially because of its proximity to my workplace. After my first visit with one stylist I felt like something was off with my colour. I didn’t say anything since it was minor and I honestly didn’t want to cause a fuss. I booked another visit months later just to touch up my roots and got Riana as my stylist. She colored my hair according to the notes my first stylist had made. After blow-drying my hair she brought to my attention that she felt the initial colour match was off. She recommended I book back to correct the colour (since I had already completed my services for the day). When I called they scheduled me in to have her correct my colour at no charge and she assured me that at my future appointments we would colour my hair to a better match going forward.I really appreciated her honesty with the slight mismatch, as she could have easily said nothing and left me with a slightly off colour and saved herself the work of correcting someone else’s mistake at the cost of her own time. Her professionalism and care were next level and I’ll be sure to keep going back to her. Also her personality is awesome! I’m so happy to have found a great stylist who I can trust. She turned a mediocre experience into a great one and I’m very happy with my hair. :D

This is a great salon and love how it’s close to home. Kristyn Honey does an amazing job with colour. I have a lot of grey hair and she works magic to cover it. I always feel like a million bucks when I walk out of the salon after getting my hair done!

Trinia is a wonderful Stylist. She's very good at her job as well as very warm and friendly she always remembers personal facts such as trips and birthdays and remembers to ask you about them on next visit. Front staff are excellent especially Katie, she's personable, knowledgeable and efficient.

Trinia is an incredible hairstylist and amazing human. She has taken great care of me and my hair since I have been seeing her.She got my hair to the perfect pink colour and has still kept it super healthy!The salon staff are extremely friendly and the atmosphere is on point!

I love this salon! The environment is welcoming and extremely professional. You can really sense the “team spirit” among the staff. Everyone works together to provide a great experience. Ada my stylist is a gem! I adore her!

Kristyn was so lovely and I love the cut she gave me. Exactly what I wanted. My hair feels so much more healthy and refreshed now. The whole team at Karma is welcoming and the place has a great atmosphere.

I had to wait a couple of weeks to post this because I wanted to be sure I still loved it when I got home and had to deal with it myself. Heidi did a great job listening to me. I had a cut and color by another salon which I am not criticizing they just missed the mark. She got me a perfect color gentle and natural. Then she trimmed my super curly hair so I can do it in less than 10mins or leave it curly. The Salon is lovely, peaceful they have little touches that make you feel special. I will be back to the Mahogany location and Heidi, and recommend them highly

It was an amazing experiencing both times. I had the same Hairstylist and she was knowledgeable and helpful with my hair type, style and color. I was very happy with Amanda and I will definitely be back. From walking in and having them greet you, offering you a drink and to taking your coat to the warm towel on your head with lemongrass in it.. it was incredibly enjoyable and relaxing. Even my water had frozen cranberries in it! I felt completely spoiled...just getting a haircut! I will definitely be back!

My experience at this salon was not good. But I would attribute that to the stylist and not necessarily everyone else in the salon. The front door greeters were friendly and cheerful. When booking I had asked for a senior/advanced stylist, and so they booked me in with one of their senior stylists.The stylist I had was very rough with her scissors, scratching my neck a few times to the point I had to tell her to be careful with her scissors. And towards the end of my haircut, she cut my ear. It was bleeding, so I asked for something to stop the bleeding and was told they didn't have anything. I left the salon with a neck red from the scratching and blood on my ear. Senior stylist? No way.
