We haven't been here since it was the old Cambridge Zen Gardens.It's good! The service was great. It's quiet. The food was good, and a good amount for the price. It's Canadian Chinese, but one of the best in town if you've not been yet.

I was really excited to try Mama Jeans food for the first time. Reason being they were rated number 1 on a Cambridge website.So I ordered a few different dishes to try.The food looked decent. After trying the food, all the dishes seemed over cooked, especially the vegetables. The SS pork was way too sweet.Not a good first impression of their food. Probably won’t be ordering again.

I was looking for a new Asian restaurant to try in Cambridge. This establishment came with good reviews. It was a pleasant dinner.The servers were incredibly nice, attentive, and helpful.The servings are big. The vegetables and chicken were really good. I found the noodles and fried rice to be slightly overcooked. A good meal in general.

Ordered hours in advance for new year Eve. Upon arrival at the time the restaurant asked me to pick up. They were saying half hour behind. Waited half hour and then it turned into hour behind. Waited the hour and then 1.5hr behind.What’s the point of the restaurant saying use x time and then waiting around. Very disorganized, they need to set expectations upfront with customers because people could have made alternate choices.

First time experiencing Mama Jean's Kitchen, decided to eat in, restaurant is clean, service friendly, portions gigantic! Certainly get your money's worth. Everything was hot and fresh! Steady business of pick up/take out orders, you know the place is good when it's busy.

Excellent restaurant! Amazing food! Huge portions! We order 2 plates and both left with a container full of food! The server was very over worked but was friendly and took care of all customers at once. The place is SUPER clean, even the bathrooms! There is parking in the front and back but also a large public lot across the street. Highly recommend this place!

The wait was a big long but it seemed only one person was running front of the house so he was working steady. I did not realize how big the portions were going to be; it was served family style. We enjoyed our food. The sesame chicken was definitely different than it is here in the US but it was unique and tasty. The lo mein was a bit thinner noodle than I expected but it was so good. The dining room was roomy, clean, and quiet. There was only us and 3 other tables so it made for a very relaxing lunch. The prices are totally reasonable!

Take out Friday..Awesome discovery here in Cambridge, ON!.We were just driving by downtown and saw this nondescript restaurant and decided to stop in to get some take out..Wowza! The servings were very generous and the 3 items we ordered were all authentically delicious!*** Singapore Noodles. 10/10. Very smoky, spicy yet the curry was not overwhelming and very generous with the shrimps and BBQ Pork.*** Sesame Chicken. 8/10. Crispy but very juicy and flavourful even without the sauce. Thankfully, the sauce was put on the side. Otherwise, I won’t have been able to enjoy the dish as the sauce was very vinegary.*** Cantonese Chow Mein. 9/10. Very flavoursome. It was mostly meat and shrimps and veggies - very generous with the toppings!.Will definitely return again as the service from the order taker/hostess was first rate. She was very friendly and welcoming. We only waited for 10 short minutes - lighting fast I tell ya!.Highly recommended if you’re in the area..
