Your vision and creativity to provide an outdoor Nirvana for others to savour is a winning combination!

We wanted to extend our small concrete patio. Novella Outdoors was selected and offered a quote that was agreeable. They scheduled the work very quickly. The first day their 2 man crew prepared the area. They placed forms, dug out the area to the proper depth, added a gravel base and tamped it. They then added strong rebar which was drilled and tied into the existing concrete patio to ensure stability. They cleaned up the workspace. The next visit 2 days later they mixed, poured and worked the concrete, staying in to the night to ensure the finish was done well. The last visit was to remove the forms. They have exceeded my expectations.

Having a special office space just 10 steps away from my house has been incredible. It really separates your work and personal life while still being home. The detail put into the selected wood, steel and window locations has allowed it to be my new favorite spot at home. A space at home away from home. Working in the shed was an amazing experience. The space was compact yet its high ceiling and large windows made it feel very spacious. The large windows also made the space very bright and would probably continue to make it bright all year round even in the rainy seasons. The wooden interior is modern and stylish, functional yet relaxed.The work table faces the wall with a medium sized square window. The window isn’t too big where you can see everything going on outside distracting you from your work but it isn’t too small where you feel claustrophobic like you’re in a cubicle.This is the perfect work space. It allows you to literally separate yourself from distraction. Keeping your work and resting space separate is important. It lets you be productive when you’re supposed to grind out work and relaxed when supposed to take it easy. I was able to spend hours sending emails, doing graphic work, illustrating and even meditate for bit. It was awesome!

Wow! What a beautiful space Novella Outdoors has created! I had the pleasure of experiencing the Chickadee signature shed and was blown away. The cedar exterior fits perfectly with its surroundings and when you step inside you get welcoming, luxury feeling. The plug and and play details of power, heating and lighting make this space perfect for a home office. Thanks Novella

I had the pleasure of viewing the Chickadee Office Studio and was so impressed. The exterior was beautiful with modern architecture and the interior was so warm and inviting. With the beautiful wall sconces, the surround sound, adorable seating area and the natural light pouring in, it felt like a beautiful escape while being so close to home. What a perfect space for pleasure and/or business.

Dave Maranda and the Novella team rebuilt the stairs to our front door which front onto the street and are very public. Dave managed unusually tricky negotiations with the city, overcame delays due to supply chain problems, sourced railings for us and managed the project from start to finish in a collaborative and professional manner. He even came personally to the site to rake leaves and ensure a pristine final result! We were very happy with the service provided by Dave and his very friendly construction team. Thanks Novella!

I booked a visit to the chickadee backyard office the other day out of curiosity and was surprised by how well designed it is. I love the atmosphere and the lighting. The space is bigger than what I imagined when I saw it on Novella's Instagram.

Went to see the Signature Shed myself this weekend as the brochure looked very interesting. Wow what a shed" even this smallest model looked huge inside helped by the high roof line. It would be a great office or exercise room
