Just left TD bank to go to this Scotia, worst choice for banking.Rude customer service, ATM’s close at certain hours. TD actually did more to help as well.Avoid this bank.

I wonder how one is to speak to the branch manager, who should, but doesn't, make themself readily available to their customers. This Scotiabank branch, formerly in the Quinte Mall, now on Bell Blvd. at the Quinte Mall, has terrible service. Also, I've left several messages over a period of two weeks on my so-called bank rep's voicemail and she hasn't had the courtesy of replying. No excuse. Don't bank here. If you do, pull your accounts and transfer to another bank.

Are these people working over desk, an officer or customer representative? If there are an officer do they know how to talk with customer? Are we here for buying vegetables or fruits ? We are dealing with our money, so know your roles and responsibilities before jumping into financial sector. Very disappointed with what been have a explanation from them.

I had a meeting with my banking manager, Heather Way. Heather was incredibly helpful and forward with all of our options, and she provided really excellent advice for us to consider. It is nice to work with an expert that is open, fair, and honest. I highly recommend Heather.

Deposited money into the ATM, accepted it and presented an error. Now have to spend weeks trying to collect my own money with multiple visits to the branch

I couldn’t be happier with the quality of service I received from the Quinte Mall branch, and in particular from Kelsey. I found myself in a unique and dire situation in which I couldn’t access my funds while overseas, and Kelsey went above and beyond, demonstrating patience, problem solving skills, and innovative thinking to find a solution. (UPDATE)Don't use this banking service. They had an outage that made me deal with 700+ $ of nsf fees. I only got three of them refunded. When I called in the agent even said yes we see where this was our mistake." The problem was the ripple effect that it had trying to get everything back on track. Also

I hate to write a negative review as I’ve been with Scotia for almost 50 years, but I just had an experience with a financial advisor that warrants a poor review. Michael Roberton discussed my personal finances, including interest rates and maturity dates of GICs with another family member. Extremely unprofessional to say the least. I am moving all accounts and investments to another financial institution.If you’d like to loose money on your investments, Michael Roberton is your guy.

Everytime I try to deposit money into the ATM I have a 3/10 chance of it actually accepting my money. I have flattened my bills with ten pound weights for 24 hours in an attempt to make it as easy as possible for the machine with no luck. I've traded bills with coworkers and friends to get the best possible quality and still no luck. If I try to deposit more than 5 bills at a time the ATM shuts down completely. (This is the inside ATMs because the drive thru has never once been available or in working order)
