Nice little park with tables and a rocky beach. Views of Port Hardy and surrounding hills. Park in the lot and walk toward the ferry, look for a trial on the right side of the road for a spirited hike to a crashed WW2 DC3.

A nice wonderful area to do some stargazing since it is away from any major area's and if you walk down the Ferry road a bit more you can go up a path to a WW2 plane crash site. Pictures to help you on the way well worth it and be prepared it is a bit wet. Also a favorite spot for bears to picnic.

Great spot to get some excellent views of Port Hardy. This is right next to the ferry terminal which is slow right now due to limits on travel on and off the Island. Nice area to relax and get a different view of the town!

Excellent marina and launch. Free launching and great fish cleaning stations. Amazing facility. Also can store yout boat at the dock in the summer and the store on the dock has everything you need for fishing and being on the water!.

Bear Cove Park
This is a good place to relax while waiting for an early morning ferry. Note you cannot park overnight here, you will need to go to the terminal for that. Stopped here for a few hours to cook dinner. Watched several eagles nearby, the ferries and coast guard ships come in, and got some great sunset photos.
