Kilby Historic Site
A nice place to come on a Sunday. Sunday is the best day because they serve a roast lunch. The quality was ok, I think the meat was over cooked which ruins it a little for me. The lunch was a big portion that is filling for the rest of the day. After lunch, it is worth visiting the museum. The best part of the museum was the store and hotel upstairs. The post office was interesting too. It was nice seeing all the old products. This place is well preserved and everyone should visit at least once.

This place was amazing and I'm definitely coming back. The staff were super friendly, warm and welcoming. The museum tour was very interesting. Several types of animals all over the farm, which you can be super close to and interact with.

My gf and I popped in here coming back from a night in Harrison. I'm glad we did! Such a neat place to explore. I wish I caught the gentleman's name inside the general store section" of this museum. He was amazing! He went thru everything with us

Kilby Historic Site
Step back in a 1920's village frozen in time in Harisson Mills. It's an enjoyable stop for the kids where they get to pet and feed goats, sheep, pigs and chickens. The general store is a standout, packed with well-preserved trinkets and tin cans. After your walk-through the village, make sure to stop by the cafe and try their tasty sandwich sets.

The area is small, but the museum staff are really friendly and knowledgeable and the farm animals are cool to see. Also, it is quite relaxing sitting in the yard with a coffee or ice cream.

A great example of the old general store where you would buy absolutely everything you couldn't make yourself. Talk to the shopkeeper and learn a ton about the shop, the post office and the attached hotel.

Lots of history here! The store is well stocked with snacks and gift items. There waa a Easter egg hunt for the little kids. They looked like having alot of fun! We made reservations for the Thanksgiving dinner years ago and on this trip we had the Easter dinner. Again the meal waa wonderful. Highly recommended. We will be back one day.The only downside to this trip was the campground. I remember it being more oriented to tenters but now it feels like a RV park with generators running loudly everywhere. Also no camp host.

Great place to visit! The site is very beautifully kept. Chris who was the staff member who guided us through was very knowledgeable and passionate about the sites history and made the whole experience captivating. Would highly recommend.
