I have been searching for a stylist who has curly hair like I do for a long while now and am so glad I found Abigail! I’ve been too nervous and self-conscious to embrace my natural curls and finally decided it was time. Abigail was so thorough in walking me through techniques and products to help with my curly hair and she is also just a super kind person. I’m excited to go on my curly hair journey with Abigail’s guidance!Abigail also did my daughter’s first hair cut at 2 years old and she absolutely loved the experience. So kind, gentle, and friendly. She’s already asking to go back to the salon :)Refinery House has such a great atmosphere and the online booking is very convenient — have been coming here for years and will continue to do so.

Have been to a few of the different stylists here and they all do fantastic jobs on standard services. The only time I wasn't 100% happy was when I asked for peekaboo colouring. However they graciously received the feedback and was able to fit me in the next day to touch up the cut. Would suggest their free consultation before anything out of the ordinary, but other than that their stylists are fantastic!

Megs is the BEST stylist out there. She is so knowledgeable when it comes to curly hair. She fun to have a conversation with. And you’ll leave falling in love with your hair all over again. I would 11/10 recommend Megs.

Loved my experience at the refinery house! Megs is great and worked her magic. I walked away with a beautiful full set of highlights and nice tone I was searching for. I was rather nervous as it was my first experience with a new stylist, however She was very open to my needs and knew how to accomplish the colour I wanted, based on pics etc.I also love the location of the new downtown chilliwack salon… cute area and modern/chic

I booked an appointment online at Refinery House and was contacted within 24 hours to set up an appointment! The admin/receptionist Spencer was lovely to talk to over email with and I decided to book with Melinda. I had my appointment earlier today and she was the best. I was feeling really anxious about getting my hair cut but she made the whole experience really lovely and gave me breaks when needed. She is awesome to talk to and gives you style advice when needed. The whole atmosphere of the store is beautiful and makes you feel welcoming. I will 100% be coming back and totally recommend going here for your next haircut!

Where can I even begin with how amazing Abi is?! She is so knowledgeable about everything, and still continues to get feedback from her colleagues when doing my hair, just to get a second opinion and it’s the best! She is so so friendly and we always have great conversations. I couldn’t recommend Abi more as well as the whole Refinery House Team.

I go to the 1881 district location. My hairstylist is Megan. She always knows how to handle my hair. It has been a year process of gradually going blonder and Megs always knows how to change it up without being so drastic. We have so much in common and I wouldn't ask for any other hairstylist. We have the best client and hairstylist relationship I have ever experienced with a hairstylist. If you're looking for a hairstylist who knows all the tricks as well as the ability to have a great conversation with you and give you the best experience, Megan is your girl

I switched over to Refinery House 2 years ago and haven’t looked back since! Megs has been my go to for my monthly haircuts and every time I am so happy with my experience! She is easy to talk to, confident in her technique and makes sure that every time I am there I am happy with the results! Thanks Megs! You rock!!!

I had a wonderful experience with Melinda! She took the time to really understand what I was hoping for, and I absolutely love the colour and cut she gave me. Melinda is warm and welcoming, a good listener, and a skilled stylist.
