Bailey Nelson Optometrist - Metropolis at Metrotown

Unpleasant experience at this location. The associate (wears a hijab) who helped us with our glasses, was deceitful. I ordered the pair for $269 one prescription glasses and one non-prescription sunglasses. However, I was surprised that the beige hexagonal sunglasses I ordered was readily available for me to wear and take home same day. She handed it to me making it seem new like it was actually wrapped in tissue paper. Before I left the store, I took a look at the shelf where I got the display sunglasses and it was no longer there nor anywhere on their desks in store. Coming back a few days later to pick up my new prescription glasses, the display one was still was not there, so I believe I have been given the display. I inspected the sunglasses and there were a lot of scratches on the frame and I can see dust deposited between the frame and lenses. Even on the night before, service was already poor, the closing associate recommended me to get thinnest lenses for my 3.25 prescription which would have been an additional $200. When I came back the next day, a different associate helped me and told me it wasn’t necessary and only needed the thin lens which was only $100 additional.Also, make sure to inspect your new glasses before leaving as the associates here do not. My boyfriend found out a few days after that his sunglasses frame had paint chips on the bottom meaning they give you used/ old display frames.Bailey Nelson offers affordable and wide selection of glasses. Thank you, but I do not recommend getting your glasses at this location. Maybe it was a one off because we came on a Saturday however, customer service and knowledge could really use more improvement.

The people are nice. However, the quality of the prescribed glass I got is not wearable and dangerous to use (poorly crafted). I get that it's a new prescription but I almost tripped when I used it. When I was in the BN, I noticed that the glass isn't clear when I try to read the doctor's name at the door. It's clearer when I take my glasses off. The lady told me, try it for ten days and you'll get used to it. If not

Fantastic customer service! I went to the optometrist there and she was lovely and her bedside manner was very comforting. I felt like I could trust the team and the doctor fully with my eyes. I ended up getting two pairs of glasses (sunnies and regular glasses) and they’re both quite comfortable and stylish

The staff were all incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the products they offer. I was able to find a great pair of glasses and sunglasses that both fit my face perfectly. The prices were very reasonable compared to other stores I've visited. The store itself was also very clean and well-organized, making it easy to browse through the selection.The also offered eye exams on site which is convenient. I was impressed by the professionalism and thoroughness of the optometrist. They took the time to explain everything to me and answered all of my questions, making me feel comfortable throughout the entire process.Highly recommend this glasses store to anyone in need of new glasses and/or an eye exam. The combination of a wide selection of stylish glasses, affordable prices, and professional eye care make it an excellent choice for all your eye care needs. I will definitely be returning in the future!

Super great costumer service. They can be pretty busy but still try to get to everyone waiting as fast as possible. The glasses are waaaaayyy cheaper than any other store. I went to every other place in the mall and you can get 4 pairs from Bailey Nelson for the price of one designer pair. So yeah I would recommend this place. Also the glasses come in, in like a week so that’s pretty damn quick. Also styles are all good so you have nice choices.

The selection available was great and the staff was well informed and equipped to help us choose the best frames for us. Our eye exams were completed professionally and had us feeling confident in our newly selected glasses.

Had same-day eye exam and eyeglasses purchased. (One regular eyeglasses and one pair of sunglasses). It was a very seamless process. This was my first time purchasing prescription sunglasses and I am already in love with them after picking them up today.
