Wexford Creek Seniors Community

I am the Physiotherapist in Wexford Creek and started here 7 months ago. We have a team of Rehab Assistants that cumulatively work 30 hours a week with our patients helping to maintain or increase their mobility and deal with soft tissue problems . I believe that dignity for all patients be maintained.The administration and the rest of the health team from cleaners to nursing including maintenance have endeavored to make Wexford a first class organization where your loved ones will be properly cared for.Our new administer Chris Evans , [sometimes I think he sleeps here lol ]has made and is continuing to make positive changes.I am here 8 hours a week which I have broken down to basically 2 afternoons . My door is open should you need to discuss anything.

Nothing but positives to say about Wexford Creek. From the moment you walk in the door you're treated like family. Recreation Team is always busy with different activities to keep the residents interacting with each other. First class meals, and housekeeping is top notch, keeping everyone safe with their attention to detail. The nursing team is amazing, approachable, friendly, and genuine. The Site Leader is doing wonderful things at Wexford Creek. Thank you for all you do Wexford.

My father was there for 5 months prior to his passing in long term complex care. . .wonderful, helpful and accommodating staff and management there throughout the COVID period and was one of the best places around Nanaimo we ended up going with. They have good facilities for Alzheimer's as well with their cottages where my stepmother stayed. Thanks.

I am grateful for everyone at Wexford Creek. My dad has been part of the family for almost a year now and is so happy. Everyone there is so genuinely caring. They welcomed us immediately - both the staff and the residents. We’re so glad we chose Wexford Creek!

Mom has been a resident at Wexford Independent Living for almost a year now. We can’t say enough positives about how wonderful all of the staff at Wexford have been. From the activities, the environment, and the overall level of care and community, we feel that moving to Wexford was a great decision! Highly recommend!

We are so lucky to have my mother with dementia at Wexford Creek. They have been outstanding over the last four years. I would recommend them to anybody. It is the place to put your loved one for sure. I visit frequently and they are consistent, caring and set an environment that is friendly helpful and supportive. My mother could not be in a better place.

My mother is in Wexford Complex Care. I have found the place to be clean, food to be reasonable and the staff approachable when I have had a concern or a question. It also has lovely spots outside where I can take her to enjoy the flowers, the birds and just share time with her.

Wexford is a caring and gentle environment for everyone. The staff is warm and responsive. I didn’t think my former husband (living with progressive dementia) could ever adjust to living in care BUT he is extraordinarily content and comfortable.The rooms are spacious with large windows looking out into secure courtyards full of plant and birds. Each room in Complex Care has its own bathroom and walk in shower. There are sitting areas with puzzles and even a pool table. The social events are thoughtful and appropriate.In short, I’m very grateful to the Wexford staff and faculty.

Wexford is a wonderful place. They are very attentive to everyone’s needs. They also keep family informed as to upcoming events and any changes in your loved one’s condition.
