Hertz Car Rental - Norwood - Morse HLE

The exact conversation had with staff member she hated her job and can’t wait to get fired. Another staff member gave us misinformation about charging the car so it started a fire. Another staff member told us all Tesla charge stations are free and charge the car in 20 min or less to a full charge from zero and it does not. Do you own reseasrch but whatever you do don’t do it at this location !!

Have rented from them before, usually very straightforward. Few days ago booked a same day rental online, called them to confirm pick up time, and turns out they had no cars of any sort. Hertz web site allows to book cars that do not exist. The person who worked there, Sean, told me that most local neighborhood locations are sold out, but he would look for a car and call me back. In the meantime I called Hertz central, and they were real pain, basically saying that the location is sold out, website stinks, and they only have cars at the airport, but will not honor the reservation, the price is double. Fortunately Sean called me back in half an hour, he found a car. Way more personalized service here than at the mother ship. Thank you, Sean

Shawn is very helpful. He is willing to take the time to answer questions I have about the cargo van and help locate a smaller one when needed. He is able to share with us his experience in driving a cargo van as a mini van drivers like many of us. Thumbs up for you Shawn. Will recommend this place and will definitely rent again in the future.

Hertz Norwood is the WORST place to rent a car. The woman who works in there LIED to me to sell an extra insurance for my rental.I had to pay $334 bucks for EXTRA insurance, because she said my insurance wouldn’t cover it. And, with her words, “it’s better to pay the insurance then paying for the whole cost with something happened”.Explaining the situation.. Someone hit my car and their insurance were paying for it. I called Mapfre and gave then my Geico insurance, in case something like this happened.So after taking my car to the body shop, I went to Hertz norwood to take my rental car, the one Mapfre got me. When I got there, she questioned me if I want insure the vehicle, and I said.. what do you mean? Isn’t the insurance company covering already? And she said “NO. you only have the rental” And then she told me that if something happened, I would have to pay for every damage.I called my insurance and they told they DO cover me and so I called them back, I they refused to remove the charges and only took the car back after I paid for it.NEVER again! But I only have one thing to say to this lady. What goes around, comes back around. You will see!! And I’m not the one doing anything to you. Life will do it.Run away of this place guys, look for a honest people place.

they have a disgusting costumer service.also, very sketchy methods on the rent, also.. will get sued for confirming my reservation and also charging my card but informing i wont be able to rent for not bringing a credit card.so they do charge you on the debt card , but just to SCAM you, dont expect rent a car with money or debit .also, avoid being charged and NEVER include your card online (overcharges are most likely going to occur)

I rented an economy car for the weekend as my car was in at the garage having engine trouble. They gave me a Ford Fusion and it was the 1st time I had seen the gears not on a stick shift. It looked like a coke can. Anyway by the time I got home I realized that the car smelt of cigarette smoke and when I got out my clothes were stinky from it. When to take the car back put they had closed for the day (5 pm). I went back the next morning and told them about the smell in the car and they gave me another car (Jeep Compass suv) for the same price. I thought I would have a hard time but they were great. This is why I use this Hertz place instead of one that would be closer to me. I would recommend this place to anyone. Just know that if you're going to use a debit card they need a 24 hour heads up to make sure the bank will allow the transaction. I think that's right but you could call them just to verify it.

I was given a rental reservation number by my insurance company. I guess hertz is a rental company with no rentals available. 1 Toyoya camry was available, not the car that was reserved for me, so really nothong available. The Employee refused to call other locations and was complaining about me out loud while I was sitting at the chair next to the rental desk. Quote Ubelievable

Rented a car for 2 weeks. I unfortunately had to payout of pocket because I did not have rental insurance Was told I would get the commerce rate" which I believe was like $26 / day ... ended up getting charged double thatShame on me for not keeping my paper work. I have no expectations of getting anywhere with these people so I just paid it .... as I am sure they will chalk it up to feesLesson learned

It took forever to get someone on the phone, I booked my reservation got all the information I needed. Won't be able to give a more detailed review till after Tuesday when I get the rental or Friday after I return the rental.

I needed a long term rental at very short notice. Megan, the location manager on site tended to all my needs and went the extra mile to ensure I was satisfied. Excellent and professional customer service.
