Icing

A pretty standard shop for accessories. The store is decent sized, but it feels empty because there is too little stock for the floor space. Staff is hit or miss on good service (e.g. greeting when you walk in, asking if you need help, pleasant conversation). Often I've gone in and the two staff working at the time are just laughing and talking at the counter. Prices can be high based on the quality of some items, but shopping the sales or clearance section always provides a good deal.

Terrible service worsted Tim's ever beware

Visited ICING today after making an online appointment for ear piercing and was cheerfully greeted by Nicole. Nicole was so professional, helpful and kind. She took care to ensure earring placement was to my liking and was gentle throughout the entire process. It went like a breeze. Nicole thoroughly outlined how to take care of my piercings in the weeks ahead. Definitely a favorable experience and my earrings look great :)

Came at 10 am on a Monday and they weren’t even open is currently 10:20 and now I have to run back to the car and put more money into my spot. If you are planning on coming here don’t come during the day.

Kiddo and her friends, visiting from out of town during March break, were followed around the store by a staffer and later wrongfully accused of shoplifting. Seemed to be a possible case of age discrimination and racial profiling. Situation escalated, culminating in a long drawnout parental intervention, beginning with the staffer calling the kids 'unsavoury'. Eventually there was some resolution. I appreciate the good work of the manager. But Claire's management team should know that they're establishment gave our kids their first experience of discrimination and that their staff put a damper on a weekend vacation / reunion of 4 very shy, studious, straight and narrow teens and their respective parents. I'm hoping resolve included some staff training.

Overpriced and the products look way better online than in person. Nice staff tho!
