Very unfortunate experience from Davey tree. They Came and gave a quote. We agreed for them to cut the tree and they followed up and asked for a permit we got a permit. We paid for and sent the permit. My Neighbor hired them as well at the same time they cut their tree Immediately. They told us to wait for a while, which we didn't mind. And out of nowhere they canceled on us wasting our valuable time. We got the excuse that they wanted to maintain existing clients. Since we had an agreement id imagine that includes us. I even said we can wait and they can cut it in the new year. Same excuse was given. I imagine if you call they will waste your time as well. I suspect there was another reason because they are still doing quotes. They didn't even bother recommending an alternative.

I have had a great encounter with this team and they are absolutely kind and attentive. I could not ask for a better experience around these fine people and would recommend them to anybody

We are always very impressed with Giuseppe: very knowledgeable with great suggestions and patient as we decide / change the scope of the work we want done. Eddie and Ryan were great, friendly, skilled (our Austrian pine looks fantastic) and hard working – couldn’t ask for a nicer team. We even received comments from our neighbours regarding their attention to detail! Thank you all so much.

Both the removal crew and the stump grinder were excellent. Very pleasant to deal with, did a good job of cleaning up and worked VERY hard! I would recommend Davey to anyone needing tree services. They did a professional job and I am very pleased with their work.

Terrible company. Got quoted for tree pruning and some treatment for aphids for the beech. However, they only came for tree pruning and never informed when they are coming for aphids treatment. We paid the tree pruning portion, but Davey never said when they are coming for the rest. Out of no where after about 7 months saw some weird stains on our driveway and pulled the surveillance camera checked who did it. IT WAS DAVEY'S! They just showed up without notifying and made a big mess. Ask them to come clean up they refused. We just spent around $2000 power washing the driveway about 1 month previously. They also said rain will take care of it”. Do they not realized showing up uninformed is actually trespassing private properly? Made a mess and not clean up is unheard of. Trying to communicated with DAVEY'S through email and they went total silent and refuse to communicate. We are out right not paying them until they give us a clarification. They recently threaten us to send the bill to collection agency if we dont pay them."

Terrible company. They were contracted to remove roots surrounding a telus box in our front yard , in the process of doing so they covered my car in hot dirty sap. Workers onsite never asked us to move our car nor did they bother trying to protect it from damage in anyway . Called their office and was laughed at and spoken down to sir we can't cut dirt with chain saws ""

I've had Davey Trees come in to prune my housing complex's trees these last few years. They are pleasant and professional to work with and leave a clean work site when they are finished. I am very satisfied with the pruning work they've done. I stopped by to look for pine branches last week when they were pruning on our property and found them way up the tree and it looked as though they'd been almost to the top. Great job - those trees look so much better and are safer in wind and snow because of it. We will continue going to them for our pruning needs. They also gave excellent advice regarding tree removals and dealing with the city's bylaws.
