Heritage Academy

My child has been attending Heritage Academy since September 2020, and went from hating school, to liking school. The classes are small and instruction is at the right level. My child is now a confident learner and learning -- learning to read and learning at level in all other subjects including math. Not to mention, it's a huge relief to not have to battle the public system. When I visited the school for a tour, I knew it would be a great school learning environment.

Our daughter has been attending for 3 years and loves going to school. She is excited about what she is learning and comes home happy. Heritage Academy was the right school at the right time for our son who was struggling adjusting to high school in the public school system. He had spent 3 years in an LD Classroom at a very good elementary school. The transition to high school was a very difficult one for him and the high school he was at seemed to have a lot of difficulty putting in place the accommodations that he had at his elementary school. Our son thrived at Heritage Academy and had very significant improvement academically during his time there graduating with really good marks. He also gained several good friends and participated in their downhill ski club and Jui Jitsu program. The teachers and staff at Heritage are excellent. Heritage quickly adjusted to offering remote learning during Covid and due to the small class sizes the students received a lot of personal attention that they would not have received in the public school system. Our son has been accepted into a 3 year college program for the fall. We would highly recommend Heritage Academy for other families looking for a school environment that is more personalized to the needs of their children where they will receive a greater amount of personal support.

We are beyond thrilled since joining Heritage 3 years ago. We looked at many options but wanted to very best for our dyslexic son. From engaging teachers to supportive administrators, we could not ask for a better environment for our child. This school knows how to teach and motivate students with learning difficulties. BEST SCHOOL EVER! Before my son started at Heritage he could not read, because of Heritage he is reading and writing, doing math, doing things he would have never done in a public school. I would not hesitate to recommend Heritage to anyone. They are very accommodating and every teacher we have come across is so friendly, they’re all wonderful. There are too many teachers to thank. The jujitsu program, is a great addition to the school for an after-school program. Thank you Heritage because of the staff at this school my son has a very bright future.

My daughter went from dreading school to loving it. She loves her teacher and has a blast with her classmates. She is encouraged to develop her interests and explore new topics. Her confidence continues to grow and she is now considering careers that she had thought were out of reach. What a happy child. Well done Heritage!

When I picked my son up from Heritage Academy after his first day at his new school he said to me Oh Mommy

The transition to public high school wasn't a pleasant experience for our teenage child. While special education services were available in the public school, the support tailored to the individual needs and learning styles at Heritage was better and more effective.The staff are great, patient, and caring. They provided a learning environment where one can feel safe, build confidence and succeed. The journey hasn't always been easy, including schooling during a pandemic, however, with the assistance of the teachers and Ms. Ward (Principal) we have one confident happy graduate.I recommend Heritage Academy for other families with kids who are struggling through high school and need personalized support.

We searched hard to find the right school for our son and are so pleased we found Heritage Academy a few years ago. The virtual classes and support during the pandemic was excellent. Our son has flourished both academically and socially. He loves going to school now and always talks about what he has learned. The staff have some of the best teaching techniques I have observed and go beyond to help students in various ways. As an educator myself, I find that I am learning new creative ways from Heritage on how to teach my students. We are grateful each day we found this school.
