Audio One

Alex is an amazingly knowledgeable man in all things audio. More importantly he is as honest as the day is long. He will not recommend “upgrades” that don’t bring actual performance increases commensurate to the cost increase. I was looking at a possible upgrade for my Krell FPB 200 and Alex informed me not to make the purchase as it would not make any meaningful improvement and might actually result in a decrease in sound quality. Same thing happened when I was looking to upgrade my Anthem D2V3D. Not many people of his caliber in sales of any kind much less audio. The store owners are also very personable. Always enjoy my time when visiting Audio One.

They tell me they won't ship out of province. So let me get this straight, you will ship in the province of Ontario, but you won't fill out a shipping label directing the package to go to Alberta. You pack it in the same box, you use the same shipping company. You fill out the same shipping label. The only difference is the price of the shipping, which I would be paying the full cost for anyways. Doesn't appear to be any valid reason not to sell me the product. One star for lazy customer service people who can't figure out how to ship a package outside of Ontario.

Great service and good quality products. I have always loved Paradigm speakers and they are an excellent dealer. Recently bought an Anthem receiver a new wall mounted centre and ceiling speakers for my basement. Great experience and excellent products. Actually had a channel issue with the Anthem and they actually just swapped it out after 3 months. I hadn't noticed because it was the height channel and bought the receiver before the basement was finished.Highly recommended..

I have dealt with Audio One twice over the past 8 years. Nothing over the top, just regular TV/stereo purchases and installation. Their knowledge and professionalism is exceptional. They are reliable and will not try to oversell. And special thanks to Juri, who was patient and answered all my questions. If I were to win a lottery this is the first place I am heading to!

I discovered these guys through a google search and recently went in to complete a transaction....I dealt with Juri, the 'new guy'....he's been with Audio One for 11 years :) Great experience, Knowledgeable with a capital 'K' and all in all a great customer experience. I don't have any experience with other team members but do not hesitate to ask for Juri, he knows his stuff and passion for the industry he is in is evident. I wouldn't hesitate to deal with Juri and Audio One again in the future.

I usually go to Audio One every 5 years for the past 30 years to update my system be it a cable pream amp or speakers and each time I do I'm given their absolute time to compare the products. Sometimes the equipment doesn't integrate as well as I thought and a refund is done.For the most part these guys have treated me with respect and have given me the time to be certain about my purchase even if it's a $100 cableI find dealing with guys there, as they're knowledgeable and passionate about musicFor me Yuri is patient and his professionalism always comes through.

Awesome store. Alex is a great guy. He sets stuff up and gets out of the way so you can listen. He doesn't pressure you and is very knowledgeable. I made a purchase today that he didn't expect (something a lot cheaper) but he was cool about it. Its service like this that makes me want to give him more of my business. Thanks Alex! I'll be back.

Thank you, Juri, for an exceptional service and for going the extra mile - to fix an out of your control mishap with a vendor; and mostly for imparting some of your knowledge, to make my humble audio setup a bit (well, maybe a lot) better! Message to James Wood who posted that Audio One would not ship out of the province and he could not understand why. I understand your frustration however......my (educated) guess would be an agreement Audio One may have with the specific (brand) supplier that simply states that they can not ship that brand out of their home (Ontario) province. No different than the specific brands supplier telling a retailer in B.C. or Nova Scotia they are ok to ship within their own province but not to any other province.I may be wrong but, I was involved in the consumer audio industry for decades, in both wholesale and retail levels, and will stand by my reasoning above.
