My son was discriminated. I believe the lack of male teachers in the school year of 2016-2017 caused this to happen. He was also sent down to the office multiple times. Teachers never gave him a change. The teachers were always so mean to him. On top of that, there is never a single minority teacher in that school!

I was a student at St. Joan about a year ago. I have since then graduated. All the teachers I had were very friendly, especially the tech teachers, they were awesome! The chaplaincy office beside the library was also extremely inviting and helpful, great place to meet new people and hangout at lunch or spare. (I still visit the office to this day just for the fun of it!) Sure, some of the math and science teachers weren't all that outgoing but they could have been a lot worse. Other than that it was a very fun experience, met A LOT of new friends, who I still hang out with today.

My son started high school 3 years ago as a landed immigrant. In the past three years, after several meetings with the school ( as a ESL student) they told us at the school provided he right English level to apply to college.......Unfortunately is not true.!!!!!!!!!!!..advice for newcomer and parent>It don't follow in what the board(school) said to the parents !!!!!!!!

Generally a terrible environment where a lot of the teachers don't care. I went there years ago and homophobia and racism would go on in front of teachers and nothing would be done.
