J's Steak Frites
We got NY Striploin Steak (medium rare) and it was perfectly cooked! It’s melt-in-your mouth, tender and flavorful. I love the buuter that comes with it!They only have one menu and they’ve done a pretty good job on it! The steak comes with unlimited fries, walnut salad and bread and butter as a starter. I had their Thyme and Time cocktail and my husband had Paper Plane. I love the mild and sweet Thyme and Time!We also tried their dessert which was a Passion Fruit Mango Choux Pastry! It’s so delish! Perfect to cap off the night.We’ll surely be back when we crave for the best steak in town.

A busy steakhouse with a simple concept based on the Parisian entrecôte style steakhouse. A set menu - walnut lettuce salad, sliced of steak with a sauce on the side and unlimited french fries. You can pick a dessert and the drink. That's it. The food was pretty good, our table was on the side and felt like an extra table put there to increase seating. There were three groups of people waiting for a their table. Had made a reservation. Fine for the experience and steak, a little expensive.

Very cozy spot. Delicious food all around. The limited menu makes it easy to decide what to eat. Fries were warm and crispy and steak was cooked to my liking. Save room for dessert because the cake is phenomenal. We had the oreo cake. It was moist and tasty, and not too sweet.

This place was great! Went with a friend and tried out the steak and frites. The service was phenomenal, our waitress was really nice and accommodating! The cocktails (although expensive) are also really nice and tasty. My only gripe with the place is that the steak was extremely salty, not sure if it was the butter we dipped into or the steak itself!The dessert is a must, we tried this chocolate cake but it’s always changing based on what they have!

Made reservations here because who can refuse unlimited fries?!Steak was cooked perfectly medium rare, as requested. Fries were great as well. A few reviews below mention that the food was a bit salty, but I didn’t find that the case at all!Favourite part was definitely the sauce that came with the steak! So good with the steak and the fries.One recommendation: Come hungry!

It was great, the service was very friendly and quick! The food was delicious and cooked very well. My medium well came out just as what i expected and similarly for the medium! Would come again and recommend to my friends as well

Let me make this review as thorough and as accurate as possible because the level of service to the quality of food to the actual tenderness, juiciest and salted just right was literally out of this world! From the moment we entered the staff was all smiles, we were greeted by a lovely young lady at the door. We were then brought to our table and seated by the hostess. Our waitress Sarah greeted us with her beautiful smile and lovely energy and from there it was game time! We started with our AMAZING SALAD the dressing was simple but so tasty and citrus-y- that I had to order a second one. (Those walnuts add such a lovely contrast to it as well, with the texture it was on point!) The steak was cooked to perfection as again it was tender, juicy and flavourful, salted just enough as well! The desserts? *mind blowing* One that we ordered was the watermelon dessert and another was chocolate and lime (can't remember exactly but luckily I got pictures too) Overall rating is 10 stars for ME!!!! YOU GUYS WERE AMAZING AND THE AMBIENCE IS LOVELY, GREAT JOB!!!!

The moment we stepped into this restaurant, we felt transported to a different world. A small space with a larger than life atmosphere, J has definitely mastered the secret to the most delicious steak frites ever. We can’t wait to come back again and enjoy the lovely food and ambience.

Read an article about J's Steak Frites and decided to visit. Reserving a table online was easy. It was a packed house but the vibe was great. Our service Andrei was wonderful. Not overdoing it but attentive. The food was delicious. Jad, the owner (recognized him from the article), came and made sure we were taken care of. Overall it was a nice experience on a snowy Friday night.Note: Reservations up to 14 days in advance for maximum of 6.
