Ancient Hill Winery

Fantastic experience at Ancient Hill Winery. My expectations were high after seeing the excellent reviews on Google and I'd have to say they were met and exceeded.First and most important, the wine was excellent. We left with 5 bottles (3 of the Rose and 2 Pinot Noir, wish we could have bought more) They had a good mix of Whites and Reds but the whites were sold out at the time. Lucky for us, we prefer red.Beautiful patio and we opted for the $15 cheese and crackers + added the $8 salami. These prices get you the entire packages / box of snacks. Great value.Overall loved this winery and highly recommend anyone to pay a visit.

I recently visited Ancient Hill Winery which left me absolutely enchanted. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality from the owners. As we entered the property, I felt the historical energy that permeated the space. Although the winery was small and only produced a limited selection of wines, the quality was exceptional. Each wine had a unique characteristic and taste that reflected the local terroir and the family's expertise. We had the pleasure of trying several of their wines, and each one was delicious and memorable. The winery's flagship red was a rich and complex blend that left a lasting impression on our taste buds. I highly recommend this winery to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable wine experience. The combination of delicious wine, warm hospitality, and historical significance makes it a true gem in the region.

Entrance is a little hidden so keep an eye out for it but it just adds to the charm! This off-the-beaten-path winery is a hidden gem just waiting to be discovered.Service is friendly and knowledgeable. Very reminiscent of the European countryside- come and relax here for an afternoon and enjoy the beautiful views, music floating through the air, and of course, a delightful glass of wine!

Very lovely hidden gem winery. The Gewurztraminer was one of the best we've had. The picnic basket with crackers and local cheese was perfect with the wine. We highly recommend this winery.

WOW! This was the highest rated winery with 4.9 stars, so naturally we had to check it out. After being to about 10 wineries, this is by far my favourite spot. The customer service was fantastic, the winery felt very cozy, friendly, classy with relaxed vibes. We loved all the rose/reds we tried. The prices were very reasonable and we loved the option for a cute lil picnic with a basket, cheese and whole box of crackers and package of meats. I will definitely be recommending this winery to anyone visiting the area!

Should I start with awesome experience or lovely people, I think j will go with lovely people first and then awesome experience to top up with.A MUST GO when in Kewlona (PERIOD).We went there with our 4 years old, and we all had a blast w wines (obviously), crackers and cheese (again obviously) but, but, TOYS - yes you saw it right, they had a box full of toys and perfect sitting for us to have amazing time as a family.Cheers to crew that's keeping up the vibe here, we love you very much!

What a great place and the wine was amazing. Loved the Baco and Pinot Gris Most places say dog friendly but this place actually is. My dog loved it and Linda was so kind and helpful.

Every time we visit Kelowna we make sure to stop at this winery! We love everything about it- the people, the view, the wine. This year we made it extra special and hosted our wedding party here after the rehearsal. They did tastings for us all and then everyone got to choose a glass of their favourite wine to enjoy. They let us bring in platters of food and have a lovely wine picnic. They even went above and beyond and provided us with cutlery and plates after we forgot to bring ours. They were so welcoming and made it such a special day. Highly recommend visiting!!

What a gem of a winery… a must visit for delicious well priced wines that you won’t find in a liquor store! Lovely patio with a panoramic view (which they welcome guests to enjoy with a purchase of their wine…and they sell cheese and crackers too), a really beautiful flower garden, and friendly helpful staff. Love supporting small local businesses!

Amazing winery, we went for wine tasting and got helpful information about every wine we tasted. The experience itself was very European and different from the other wineries in the Okanagan area, the winery offers a basket with cheeses and crackers and sitting on an amazing patio overlooking the vineyards. The highlight is that the place is super dog friendly and we felt our dog was very welcome! Will recommend everyone to check it out.
