We had LIT out to install a furnace. Mike was very professional, punctual, did an outstanding job at a highly competitive price. You can tell that Mike really takes pride in his work. Subsequently we had LIT back 3 other times to run a new BBQ gas line, modify an existing gas line to hookup a gas cooktop and finally to replace an AC unit. Each job went great. Mike's quality, professionalism, attention to detail and overall service remained second to none.LIT is my go-to company for any of my heating / cooling and gas needs.

Mike at LIT Heating & Cooling was incredibly professional and responsive. He replied to my inquiry for service within a few hours and was here to complete the work in less than 24 hours. He showed up on time and did an amazing job getting our propane fire table hooked up. He even identified a cracked line and replaced it while he was here. Absolutely amazing service - I will definitely contact LIT Heating & Cooling again with any of our HVAC and gas fitting needs!

Mike from LIT Heating & Cooling helped my parents install an ecobee thermostat. Booking the service date over the phone was a breeze and Mike showed up on time, finished the install, and even offered to help them show how to use it. Appreciate the incredible service and honest up front pricing without trying to upsell during the visit which unfortunately happens a lot to my parents who have a language barrier and are a bit older. Completely impressed and strongly recommended!

We had called so many Heating and Cooling companies to install a gas fireplace in our basement, and nobody seemed to want to do the job. We called LIT, and Mike came out straight away. He and his worker determined a quick course-of-action at a great price. Within a few hours, they were back installing the furnace.10/10 workmanship, 12/10 responsiveness. I have used LIT Heating & Cooling twice now. The owner is as professional as it comes. He was on time and able to effectively communicate the work he was doing to me (someone who does not understand the trade at all). I had LIT over to get my pool heater running at the start of summer and he did a fantastic job. I also used him to move a gas line for a new stove I purchased. Both cases the owner showed up and did a fantastic job. I could not recommend this company any more. The level of professionalism you get with LIT is what will have you calling him back for any HVAC need you may have.HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Michael is professional knowledgeable honest person he does great work. I have had some work at my personal home, my rental property, my fathers home and we have been extremely satisfied with every call. I would not hesitate in calling him again or recommend him to any one who need a HVAC tech

Reliable, efficient, knowledgeable, patient, & super nice guy ! Mike is definitely one of a kind. It’s rare to find someone of his caliber in the trades nowadays. You can always reach Mike & receive a prompt response. He has maintained, repaired, and replaced our HVAC system over the last several years. He has maintained & installed 2 gas fireplaces. One fireplace had been giving us grief for over 30 yrs. A small wood burning thruway zero clearance fireplace was a difficult project converting to gas & maintaining code. Mike made the process look easy thanks to his patience. The fireplace is now super efficient & a favourite addition to our home. We don’t know what we’d do without Mike; our only disappointment is not being able to clone him !

I normally try to keep my reviews shorter, however being in the trades myself and being a homeowner this review is longer because each aspect I cover can become a headache if you choose the wrong contractor.We started using Mike back in July 2019 when we converted an oil base garden suit to gas. This was a large project that included; running an underground line, running pipe for multiple taps, removing the old oil furnace, reworking the ducting and installing the new gas furnace, installing an A/C unit and testing the system. It has been working flawlessly for over a year. That project has saved us money big time in energy dollars.Because the project went so well Mike and his team were invited back for another large project that included; removing an old gas furnace, installing a new furnace, running another underground line to our shop, reinstalling the old gas furnace in the shop to replace a very old oil furnace and test the system. The project was completed in less than two days. Mike and his team worked through the rain to get the job done because cold weather was on the way. My floors were covered with mats, and the work area was cleaned when they were finished.Next year LIT will be coming back to install a new A/C and A/C line for the main house. I won't even bother shopping quotes. It will be a waste of my time. The service Mike provides is fantastic and professional. He gives you the information up front with no beating around the bush.If you want the peace of mind that comes with a home that keeps your family at the temperature you desire, call LIT.I only have this so so picture of the mats they put down but they are like a yoga mat on steroids.

We needed a new a/c and furnace; a huge investment. After asking four different companies for a quote, we went with LIT. Their combination of customer service, knowledgeability, quality and value sold us. We also appreciated that the owner was local and involved with the work (it's a small company), so we knew he'd stand by the work. We are now two months out from installation, and we are very pleased we went with them. Installation was prompt, efficient, and hassle-free. And we've now used both the furnace and the a/c, both without problem. We would definitely recommend!
