Pho Rùa Vàng Golden Turtle Restaurant
Quick, friendly service and fair prices for very good Vietnamese food. The patio is nice for people watching on busy Ossington. While maybe not the best pho in the city, it's nonetheless very good and the price is right. The shrimp fresh rolls were super fresh tasting and the sauce was yummy. Drinks are pretty cheap too!I've ordered takeout vermicelli from here many times, which for me is the standout - try the spicy lemongrass shrimp.

Pho Rùa Vàng Golden Turtle Restaurant
Classic pho restaurant interior and energy. Our service was super friendly and food came out lightning quick! The pho broth was a little on the bland side, but still delicious nonetheless. Beef was fresh and tasted like good cuts. Overall the food is great, not disappointing at all. Restaurant is clean and bright. The seating feels a little cramped but some might find it cozy to be a couple centimetres closer to their company than usual. You'll start with water instead of tea here, so ask if you want that!

Good service.Came for pho on a rainy day, and it hit the spot. A clean tasting broth with a good level of salt, but could have a stronger beef flavour.Not my favourite, but conveniently located and was able to get a table right away.The avocado milkshake was terrible. Very very icy/not creamy, not enough avocado or condensed milk. The mango milkshake was also icy.

Pho Rùa Vàng Golden Turtle Restaurant
Ordered bun bo hue, vermicelli with grilled pork and two fried spring rolls. Spring roll was crispy! Everything else is pretty solid. Fast service. Accepts credit cards. This place is equally good as the other pho place on the same street.

It's been a while since I've been downtown to the Ossington strip. If you're not familiar, it's an area on Ossington Ave, between Queen St W and Dundas St W, that has a ton of great trendy restaurants.I happened to be downtown with friends and we were hungry so we wandered over to the strip, looking for some great food. Almost all of the restaurants were packed with a dinner crowd. We tried a few places and they couldn't accommodate us.Finally, we came across Pho Rùa Vàng Golden Turtle, a Vietnamese restaurant. Their patio was packed but they had a table available inside.We ordered a couple of appetizers, a couple of vermicelli dishes, and a couple of pho (soup) dishes for the four of us.All the food arrived quickly and we dove in. The appetizers and vermicelli dishes were nicely presented and very tasty. The vermicelli dishes, beef and chicken, were my favorites of the evening. The meats were nicely seasoned and cooked.The pho dishes were a little disappointing. Although tasty, the meat and overall portions seemed to be a bit on the small side, especially compared to almost all the uptown places I've been to.Overall, however, the food and experience were good. Although busy, the restaurant was clean, bright, and the staff were efficient, friendly, and fast.

Pho Rùa Vàng Golden Turtle Restaurant
One of the best pho spots in Toronto, Golden Turtle has been an Ossington staple for years. Particularly during peak times, there's always a long wait here (and at their down-the-street competitor, Pho Tien Tranh) but patience will yield delicious and large bowls of flavourful pho, really good fried spring rolls, and a must-try Vietnamese coffee (which, for the uninitiated, is served with condensed milk - read: delectably sweet).

Pho Rùa Vàng Golden Turtle Restaurant
Authentic fresh Vietnamese and Thai dishes. The pho is great, one of the best I have had. The broth is crystal clear. I liked the tamarind soup and the fried spring rolls. There are plenty of options. Great coffee and drinks. The seating/patio area is great, especially for a downtown area, and the owners and staff are all friendly. Great Service would definitely come back

The food is decent and very affordable, and good for a quick lunch, but the portion is a bit small.FOOD:• #45 Com suon nuong, trung: the portion is a bit smaller than I thought. The meat is marinated quite sweet. It comes with tasty pickles. The rice is not the best but overall I like this dish.• #7 Pho nam gan sach: the broth is quite good, decent amount of meat. Not a big fan of the noodles. Again the portion is small but it's only $15 so not a big deal.

I would put a 0 if I could. This place used to be my favourite place to eat Pho, I brought so many friends and family here, but the quality of their food has gotten worse not to mentioned that the staff is EXTREMELY rude. Seems that they forgot what customer service is.My pho was so disgusting and oily I couldn’t finish it, I tried to eat the beef only but the oil remained on my lips. A true shame that they push away loyal customers like that.
