Chardonnay the property manager is a very nice lady, and very helpful. Whenever my house needed maintenance she would send someone over very quickly and she is doing her job very well.

Had a viewing booked for 9 a.m. with Chardonnay this morning, she even called to confirm last night. Waited an hour for her to call, and decided to call myself once I realized she forgot about me.Turns out they rented the suite, and she actually lied and said that she called yesterday to cancel- told me she left a voice mail. There was no missed call or voice-mail!

Hi - I am giving five stars because of my awesome experience with Robin and Sami. I lived in four bedroom unit, and whenever I had any issue, it was resolved promptly. When I decided to move out, Robin went out of his way to help me. His work ethics are amazing. Thank you Robin. Much appreciated!!

Had a wonderful experience working with Chardennai from start to finish. She made the transfer process easy and is one of the nicest people to deal with! I recommend vista gardens just because of her great service. The townhouse itself is very nice but definitely older. They do their best to ensure the suite is ready, clean and comfortable for move in.

Lovely location. Nice community. Staff us really good cooperative. Always slove problems quickly ...Chardonnay is great lady very helpful and lovely lady ....and Talal bhi is also very co operative and helping .

Rented with a friend in 2012 (his name was on the lease, mine wasn't because I replaced a friend who moved out) WORST rental experience ever! We cleaned the apartment spotless, except for a stain in the carpet that was no worse than when we moved in. They tried to charge 2x the damage deposit for cleaning" everything else we had already cleaned spotless and "settled" for just the full deposit. I moved to Fort McMurray so I couldn't fight it and my friend didn't know any better. NEVER rent from boardwalk. Ever. Let the company go bankrupt so that someone who actually deserves to be a property investor can take over. When you eventually move out

Started off not too bad but over the 7 years I lived there is got worse. I don't know how many times we would asked to get the windows and doors fixed. In the winter it was so darn cold. Our fridge barely worked at all and asked many time to get it replaced. They wouldn't do anything about the people that lived next door. The first one threaten us and played the music so loud 24/7 and the other ones that moved in after sold drugs out of their place. Rent went up every year and when we moved they wanted to charge us $1800 a month for a run down place. Thankful to have left Boardwalk behind and now rent a beautiful duplex for a lot less in a nicer area.

My wife and i were looking at renting from here, Dami the manager showed us around and we found a unit that we liked, she then pressured us to give a security deposit to hold the place and telling us the incentives exprired the next day (which was a lie), then she called us the next day saying the price she gave was wrong and that it was going to cost more for the unit, so we went in and found out how much more. then i found out later that night that they also will charge more each year you stay there increasing your rent. which i think she should have told us up front. we never got a copy of our lease application, and after hearing a lot of complaints about boardwalk we decided we didnt want to go there, so we contacted them and now they are keeping the $500 damage deposit saying it was used for credit checks and background checks. if i could give them a Zero stars i would. BEWAREUPDATE: well its been a month, never did get the deposit back like they said I would. she said the cheque would be made out and sent in about 10 business days. Ive called never got any answer back. you know just shows this company, she says that it was on the rental agreement (that we never got a copy of) and it was never discussed, guess they never heard the term FULL DISCLOSURE before.

1 star is more than this place deserves. Good luck getting anything like freezing pipe or broken hot water tanks fixed or fixed properly. You will be paying out of your own pocket for work around buying heaters and increased utility bills. Paying $3000 to break my lease was worth it not living here anymore.

In Vista Heights, when Boardwalk took over a privately owned complex, it practically destroyed the fabric of our community as it quickly went to seed. Have a look at the photos and we have a lot more than that! Boardwalk is financed by large Real Estate Investment Trust Mangers (REITS) whose primary objective is to provide an attractive return on investment to their shareholders. They practically control the multi-family real estate market and drive out responsible private ownership. If you live in a community that has a Boardwalk complex in it, you are in trouble. Boardwalk lets the good tenants go, raise the rents and put undesirable tenants in, under secret agreements with local agencies. To add insult to injury, the rents are subsidized by our tax dollars.The primary objective of Boardwalk is to provide a good return to their investors. Their mission statement as follows is a complete fabrication by their marketing department.Boardwalk strives to provide quality apartments for rent and exceptional service. We believe the Boardwalk community is built on love. Our Resident Members feel at home in their apartment and have a very real sense of belonging. Welcome to our Boardwalk Family Forever.In my community people who live in the Boardwalk Apartments are afraid to go out. The bad tenants show their appreciation by terrorizing the other residents and not only in their own complex – giving them the finger etc. Tenants have doors get kicked off their frames at all hours of the day and night and they keep the complex in terrible repair. There are delinquent gangs running all over the place throwing garbage and causing havoc.Management pretends to be unaware of any of the problems and claims to have only the best tenants but their staff must be trained to lie. Do not rent from Boardwalk and if you have shares in any REIT please sell them. Do not support these destroyers of communities.These misleading photographs were taken over 30 years ago, when it was brand new. The grounds are always a mess.It is more of a tenement than an apartment complex. Now, many of the units are occupied by refugees. They have many kids that just run amok, or several adults in one unit. Parents send their toddlers to empty the trash and it ends up all around the complex, and the neighborhood. People come from all over the city to empty garbage in the bins here since there is no security to speak of. The complex attracts skunks, crows and ravens who feast on the slop laying all over the ground on most days.The place is often in a horrific mess and an eyesore. Responsible tenants should demand better from their management. Boardwalk has been making some improvements but only because of all the bad publicity. A lot of the tenants really need to be evicted but I have no evidence that they do that here. Many of the units are by agreement with the city. When this happens, the city repairs the damage when the tenant moves out but that does nothing for the community who has suffered through their indignities! In this town it is very hard to be evicted when someone's got you covered.
