Absolutely amazing charity. We went for their OWL open house and my 4 year old had a great time. She even won a photo with an owl!! This place does such great work and we are so happy to support them. Can’t wait for next year. Thank you!!

Absolutely enjoyable experience. Visited on Thurs. Aug.22 in the morning, had a short wait for the next tour which we were lucky enough to be just the two of us. Chris, the guide was super informative about each and every bird in the outside enclosures with how/why they ended up there. Enough variety of birds to be worth the visit with Sarah the office Barn Owl giving great photo ops. These birds are super animated and amuse with their natural behavior. There is also a small museum with taxidermy and skeleton displays attached to a small gift shop. Parking is plenty and the setting although close to Boundary Bay Airport is quiet and serene with farm land surrounding. This is a non-government funded facility that relies on donations but never have I experienced any sort of pressure tactics. I encourage everyone to donate as the service and rehab they provide is essential as well as the teaching factor invaluable. Sadly, an injured owl was being brought in as we arrived. They explained that in such situations, they follow-up with the rescuer on progress.Repeat visits will be made with the hopes of one day volunteering.

Visited in Jan 2023. Booked the tour in advance through the site. It's by donation and there's a small gift shop and museum. Some very cool owls and birds to see up close. The tour guide tells you the story of each bird/ owl and gives some background on the species. They have resident Eagles, Falcons, Vultures and different owls. Tour is about 30-40 minutes. Out back they have lots of birds in rehabilitation - No access to the public but they do open it up sometimes in the summer. They do great work here and the staff are lovely. It was nice way to spend a Sunday morning. There were some young kids on the tour and they enjoyed it too.

Really fun and educational experience. The volunteers were helpful and entertaining. Great chance to see raptors up close and personal. I learned a whole bunch about them I never knew before.

Great hour spent at OWL. Learned a lot about birds of prey and our guide was very good. Managed to see pretty much all the residents (aka birds of prey).

Our guide gave us a great tour, he was very knowledgeable about all the birds, and told us about their histories their rescues and rehabilitation. We are happy to have donated to a very worthy cause.
